Karl left the next day to work in central HQ for a fortnight. Leaving Alexis on her own. Karl was now working alongside central command to make sure the warning was dealt with and the culprit executed. meanwhile Alexis kept carrying out the resistance tasks. She was now fully equipped carrying a Webley revolver and stiletto knives. Hidden in her stockings and stiletto heels respectively. Her latest job involved her meeting with the ambassador of the Reich on behalf of her husband. She met up with him and began flirting and seducing him. They got it on but before anything got serious the ambassador got a stiletto heel knife in the groin and neck. She then proceeded to head out the back alley way.
Rene was working around the clock on finding the one responsible for such a high number of deaths. Once Karl arrived at central command, the officer enforced more discipline in searching for the culprit. He was making a lot of progress on his findings. He could tell if a person was lying by sheer movement, not to mention that his deadliest weapon is speech. Whoever it was, the culprit could have blended with Nazi command. He/She could even be inside the building destroying plans. Because of this, security was doubled. Rene needed to speak to Karl and his wife Alexis, the news was likely of grave importance to them. He did not wish to put them in danger.
Ella struggled a little in chair, barely managing to move. "Hello? Anybody there?" She struggled some more. "Too lazy to send another jackboot or something?" She knew antagonizing them would be a bad move, but it would be better than being left to starve in isolation. She tried to tilt the chair over, the joints of it creaking and cracking from the jerks.
Just as the chair creaked, another negotiator walked inside and sat down onto the chair. While not as fearsome as Rene, she squeezed the truth from Ella as easily as the negotiator. Although Rene was known to have been much more experienced in diplomacy. Once the deed was done, she was allowed to leave under the punishment of strict guidelines in all Nazi province's and her highly valuable images destroyed. Rene, although not receiving the negotiation he wanted, still got valuable information from her. Information of a confirmed although somewhat photograph of the individual he was looking for. It was a photo of a women wearing sunglasses walking outside of a building. He knew nothing, other then the words "Angel" underneath. The need to speak with Karl was overwhelming, he was put in more danger the longer he remained alone.
Karl travelled through the winding tunnels of central HQ arriving at the interrogation room. He then approached Rene "so you asked for me. You said it was something that would put my life on the line." Karl waited for the news patiently. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexis was back home. The kids were off school for a national holiday and Alexis was slowly turning them from Germans to Brits. The older son was hard to manipulate thanks to the hitler youth program. However the girl was mesmerised that she didn't have to be a submissive slave to males like every other woman born after 1945 was.
"And indeed i did." Rene asked before handing Karl the photo. "This was taken from a prisoner, a photograph of a resistance fighter that looks remarkably like your wife. Now, I'm not accusing your wife of destroying the Reich from within, but....I think you should speak to her about this. This "Angel" has killed a dozen officers, and her pattern of murders appears that she's going up the ladder. Eventually, she'll kill both of us and possibly the Fuhrer." Rene spoke. "As i have said, I'm not accusing of your beautiful wife being a resistance leader. But if she is, she'll either lie to your face or attempt to kill you. If so, then I'm afraid then we must take more evasive maneuvers."
Ella was escorts and left out in the in southern french countryside, right near the border of Northern and Southern France. She walked away, her head hung low as she thought on a plan to sneak back and get her camera and that girl out of the country. Her camera was her main focus, the girl was just a moral side job to her.
Karl was shocked then he remembered something from his work when he started brainwashing women who fitted the Aryan description but weren't of the third Reich. "Damn it, Protocol 53A10. I knew the manipulation wasn't permanent. I should of just kept her as a slave or french maid." Karl then rushed off to head back to the south to confront Alexis. However it would take 7 hours to get there from Paris. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexis was in her house as SS officers came in calling her name. While they were searching they grabbed and sent Fredrick to be under Rene's care to train him into a proper SS recruit. They did not find much as rushed out the back door with her daughter Eva. They rushed round the back and got in the red 911 which still had a suitcase of clothes in the back. She drove as best as she could only to be noticed by one of the soldiers who managed to shoot out the taillights. They didnt know where they would end up but they entered a small hamlet where the young girl was.
Rene remained back at HQ, focusing on the case that Karl had been dealing with about his wife. He had been alerted that a young boy named Fredrick was being sent to be under his care. The last time he heard, Alexis was en route to Paris, likely to escape to England where the Reich cannot touch her. Placing Alexis as a category 1 threat, all soliders were required to capture Alexis dead or alive. He even allowed a bounty of $20,000 Reichmarks to be placed on her head, increasing it a large amount of Bounty Hunters are interested.
As the girl reached the edge of the hamlet, she saw a pair of headlights head in her direction. She quickly looked back inforth before dartign back towards the hamlet, clambering through the window and back up stairs, passed the barricaded front door, and back into the guest room, locking it behind her.

As she gained enough distance from Nazi border patrol, Ella flanked far left of them and hurried away, sprinting north back to the hamlet where she hoped the girl would still be. After a few hours, the hamlet came into blurry sight, exhausted and dizzy from the long distance run she quickly ran. She slipped into the kitchen through the window again before collapsing on the floor of exhaustion. "Hey..." she tried to shout in between pants. "...You... You still here?"
Alexis and Eva got out the red Porsche which she hid in some foliage and approached the door of the small house. She then did a knock which she learnt from the resistance in the south. "Hello, Anybody there." Her voice sounded distinctly German but she slowly tried to return back to her old British accent. "I am the angel of the resistance... And I am on the run. I need some help. As they have my son." ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Karl was on patrol slowly moving towards Calais. He knew that she would try to return home so he was prepared. Ordering an increased number of fresh recruits from French and German boot camp to staff the the borders between France and Britain. Some weren't even SS and were just your regular German infantry. Some weren't even Infantry at all ranging from the Luftwaffe to sailors. He knew he was facing years of pent up forgotten hatred and he was the only one who knew exactly what she was like before the control. So this was far to understaffed for his liking.
Ella dragged herself over to the barricaded front door upon hearing the voice. "It's blocked." she yelled with a raspy sounding voice. "Kitchen window... The kitchen window is open." The girl heard her voice and sprinted down the stairs, covering Ella's mouth. "Shh! What if she is a Nazi? What if she's part of a patrol? You're going to get us killed!" the girl hissed at Ella.
Alexis took Eva and went to the window lifting her in. She soon followed. After catching some breath she approached Ella. "Hi, my Names Alexis Tyler. Though most Germans call me Alexis Freizung and the french The Angel. I was responsible for the south resistance groups getting news of Nazi infiltration plus the death of the German ambassador in the Riviera. Though they seemed to have found out and now I am on the run." She spoke in a calm yet serious manner trying to hide how scared she was. For the past 8 years she has been an obedient housewife and she still had some of the submissiveness in her. So she knew if they caught her she would revert back to her old ways. This time making sure there was no off switch.
Ella looked up at her, still sitting against the barricade with the girl next to her. "That's amazing, you could be the Queen of England for all I care right now, but are you seriously wanted by the Nazi's now? Tell me you weren't followed." The girl seemed to shy away from Alexis, almost hiding behind Ella.
"Not that I know of at least. Though knowing the man I once called husband we might as well be stuck here. Though luckily I have a sports car. So we can make a speedy retreat." She then knelt down towards the girl. Trying to make herself less scary. Eva approached the girl smiling; She always seemed to have a kind, friendly and non-menacing nature in everything she did. "Now we need to get out of here. The Porsche is in the bushes just west of here. We should be able to reach it in two minutes."
Upon receiving reports that the "Angel" was in Paris, Rene took off with a dozen of mysterious SS soldiers wearing some sort of premature form of Power Armor. Along that, five hundred other SS soldiers headed towards Alexis last known location, and also on the search for the Porsche they had received reports about. Not only did Rene have roughly 512 soldiers under his command, but the Ordnungspolizei (Or Orpo, and were the regular police force of the Reich without being Gestapo) were in full force across the city, easily putting an excess of 20,000 officers against Alexis. Finally, although he did not wish to send this against the wife of Karl, the Gestapo was sent, with a small disguised yet extremely powerful force of only 250 sent by Himmler to ensure Alexis capture or death. Altogether, Rene had 20,762 officers under his command. He had two choices, capture for Karl to interrogate and possibly kill himself, or Rene could simply order Alexis to be marked for death with Karl’s ‘blessing’ himself. He preferred the capture, but was not willing to allow a high level individual escape from the Reich into the French Republic or England. Depending on what Karl wanted, he was willing to carry out. The individual was his wife, after all. Upon finding the vehicle nearby, the car was laced with C4 underneath the engine and fuel tank. The moment they tried to escape in the car, anything twenty meters from the explosion was fatal. He also positioned a team of Snipers hidden inside the nearby hotel. Finally, the other officers and unit’s blockaded all possible escape routes on the road. They did not have the time to do so with the buildings, but knew that they have trapped the “Angel” like a mouse. Althrough the area seemed lifeless, the area was packed of Nazi officers three blocks down. Rene pulled out a radio to report. “We’ve found her. You decide her fate, dead or alive?” Rene spoke coldly.
Ella stood up wobbly, still tired from the run. "Good, good. We should have everyth- Hey, girl. Where's my camera?" she asked hastily. The girl hesitated for a second before sprinting up the stairs and coming back with the camera, resuming to hide behind Ella. "Right. Now we have everything. You lead the way..."
Karl was on the radio hearing everything Rene had planned. "HOLD FIRE. I want her alive so don't even dare thinking about shooting to kill or flicking the C4 switch. Otherwise your dealing with me. Now I want her alive, so I can divorce her and turn her into a living doll who has no sense of free thought." Karl then returned to mobilising all border patrol teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Alexis opened the door and immediately dropped into prone position. She crawled on the ground for 15 minutes her dress and stockings covered in dry mud by the time she got to the Porsche. She didn't get in the car straight away just opening the door and turning on the engine. While staying down.
