Man, another artist. Those are some nice little doodles. My friend keeps trying to get me o watch FLCL, I just don't have any time.
Just finished one of my first pony drawings. Didn't expect me to update this quickly huh? :derpe: I'm basically doing this by the light of the tv, freehand, so it isn't very clean. That and the cutie mark is a bit too big and not very symmetrical...bleh.
UM. your kidding right, you did that by the light of a tv. Well I'm jealous. I wonder where my drawing talent is hiding? *starts looking for talent*
Thank you everypony, I'm glad to hear that you guys enjoy them I know that I still need lots of practice (just noticed the legs are not curved right in the above drawing) but I enjoy doing it, so I'm sure I'll get in plenty. Speaking of which, I just made a new drawing, but this time I'm going to lay a piece of trace paper over the drawing I hashed out in pencil to try to clean it up before posting it. EDIT: Well the tracing idea was a failure, I really need like a felt pen or something, sharpie isn't working. However, I'll post the original pencil drawing.
Well, it's been awhile since I added an update, I wanted to update this past weekend but got caught up doing other stuff. Anyway...I figure it's time to show you what I've been working on for the past week. Note: I drew the Mane Six and their respective companion next to each one of them (except for RBD, of course) but my scanner seems to have a mind of it's own, and cropped them as it saw fit. These have suffered a bit of deterioration/fading since being in my sketchbook for a week getting handled a lot. All are just sketches, not finalized drawings. I'd need like a nice pen for that. Also, if you haven't guessed it already, I've been using references for most of my drawings. Like I said in my first post, I just started drawing about a month or two ago, so I'm still just practicing and learning. I want to do original designs, but no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to put what I picture in my head onto paper. So I'm just gonna keep practicing and see how it goes.
Oh..I drew this about ten minutes ago, it's just a rough sketch but hey, might as well post it as long as I'm posting everything else.
Thanks pixel! The CMC one is my favorite too. I'm prolly going to start focusing more on original designs to try and further my skills and bring my creativity up a notch. I'll definitely still draw ponies, but there might just be random stuff in there too. The quality of the drawings may go down without references, but at least they'll be originals. ^.^
Your Pony stuff is amazing! Also, I love that I now know someone else who likes both FLCL and MLP. Your art is 20% Fooly Cooly-er than anything else ever.
yeah...updates....so yeah they might have to wait, I have a few different things I've been drawing, but due to a busy schedule and some friend drama I haven't really gotten around to drawing much, and what I have done has been bleh. Just can't concentrate. I'll prolly have 3-4 things up by the end of the weekend however.
