so, today (Sunday) was last day of the Galacon in Stuttgart, Germany. There were around 500 bronies on both days (Saturday and Sunday) and some special guests, and there were quite few memorable events: There were couple of venues at the con: Legends of Equestria room - Hall where you could try out pre alpha version of Brony made MMORPG Legends of Equestria. Dealers Room - Room where you could buy brony merchandise. I'll just post some picture of the dealers room: Spoiler: merch (plushies were gone in about 20 min) Workshop - Saturday - Dancing 101, Sunday - Voice actor signing. Main Stage: First event was Catch The Character - Bronies had to find 4 characters around the con, and people who got stamps from all 4 characters that were on hunt (Canni, Spike, Rarity and Pinkie Pie) got the chance to get into the lottery for a special prize. After that was then karaoke session that turned into big mass singing, topping with around 50 bronies singing Smile Smile Smile on the stage. Legends of Equestria panel - SweBow and rest of LoE crew talked about the game, and gave a preview on projector. They talked about new things in the game, including ingame night club. They have also talked about the progress of making of the game, and hold a Q&A for the fans. Raffle - there was a Raffle hold for many many prizes. After Celestia gave her position to Princess Luna, and Luna took over the duty, The Grand Galloping Gala Started. Bronies got class, and after a very classy start, it turned out into electronic pony party, one that Pinkie Pie would be proud of. On Sunday, first thing, there was a Animation panel featuring Mr.Poniator. Spoiler: animation panel After the Animation panel, there was fur suit workshop held by Atalon the Deer, who also made Canni fursiut, on the main stage: Spoiler: Fursuit workshop Canni: Bronies For Good Charity Auction - (look at the picture) Spoiler: auction in a nutshell for: that's it for now. it's 5.50am, and I'll post more pictures as soon as I get my hands on them.
I probably shouldn't read these threads. They always depress me and make me jealous because I'm too poor to ever go to any of these.
