Dear fillies and gentlecolts, May I most humbly make the introduction of myself to this fine establishment. As a representative of the fine-if-rather-damp-and-grey Bittish Isles I bring fancy tea pointlessly imported from halfway around the world and a rather dry sarcastic "wit". Or annoying gittishness as it is sometimes translated as. This may have been influenced by such divine comedies as Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Black Books, Father Ted and The I.T. Crowd as well as some less refined material like Bottom, 2D TV and Little Britain. Less wit based but no less significant influences include Doctor Who, a plethora of scientific-fiction media, innumerable computer games of all realms and the works of Terry Pratchett, Bill Bryson, Chris Ryan and H.P. Lovecraft. The inevitable influence of Poneydom came due to a continuing influx of required medical treatment necessitating rather a lot of time being housebound with the Internet. Of course a stallion of good upkeep does not air his dirty laundry in public but it is say to say I am on first name terms with the entirety of my local hospital's hematologists, a truly lovely team of caring if slightly strict mares. Anyway, a piece of optimistic unfettered technicolor happiness has been most welcome for me as I must confess to an encroaching miasma of 'gilded cage' syndrome (known by others as comfortable yet lonely isolation). A natural outgrowing of these perpetually perfect ponies is to reach out to those fellow folk also entranced by this candy-like wonderland, hence the mouthful of wordage here. I hope for many a pleasant discussion with you fine folk in the near future, as well as your continuing good health. Yours sincerely, Quillian Tsort
