I was not expecting this in the least. Thank you everyone, it was very nice of you. This has been the hardest birthday I've had, and there's been 18 of them now. I couldn't imagine myself celebrating this year, simply because he was supposed to have been here to see it. However, you've all made me really happy, and I thank you for that. Today's been a better day than I could have imagined.

Ah, yes . . . I remember it well. From 2:25 to 2:26 a.m. was the last full minute of me being 17, and 2:26 to 2:27 a.m. was the first full minute of me being 18. Ah, memories! . . . Ok, actually, I was asleep. But I do remember that.
Well that's far more interesting than what happened to me the moment I turned 18....which was me asleep. Hmmm...maybe something did happen, but it's best not to worry myself over it.

I didn't ask for anything other than a graphics tablet, because I just didn't want anything. I got a few games and money and stuff, but what really got me was a photo of me and my stepdad in a frame saying 'My Hero' on it. That, and the necklace he used to wear. It says his name in hieroglyphics. I'm never taking that off. Those things, given to me by my mum, meant the world to me.
