Yep. Mine are green most of the year. Yellowish in December though. There's already a band of yellow around my irises. >_>
Awww I love Aussie Shepherds. :'3 Hopefully you can find a pic! Eh, lucky then. I have to stick to neutrals like creams and browns, or contrasting colours. No greens and blues for me. D: Hahha x3 Thanks! @SR20DETDOG Yup. You have central heterochromia! My god, that puppy is gorgeous. *HUGS IT!* @Jhera Hmm. That'd be pretty awesome. I've seen people with sectoral heterochromia but never at the top of their eye. @Valkyyria Not sure if that's heterochromia. Probably not. What's it like when the light hits your eyes front on? Oh, and I love cats with a green eye and a blue eye! It's so... striking. Shame I'm allergic to cats. D: @Alias North Nah, it doesn't affect eyesight. xP Some people have heterochromia from an injury, but I don't know what kind of injury that would be and if it would affect the eyesight. I have it because of genetics and I'm pretty sure I can see what everyone else sees. @51m0nn YUSH! You has heterochromia too! I've only ever seen one other person apart from you with it, but they were blonde and had a brown patch. @Ramza Yeah? When I was a toddler my eyes were both reallyreally blue and my hair was fire engine red. My hair is now more of a strawberry blonde with lots of different colours going through it and my eyes started to change too. @Dilly Star I'm not sure if half-half classifies as sectoral, seeing that there is an even ratio... But it's heterochromia nonetheless. I've always liked hazel eyes hahha. You should go for her, Dilly! Dun let her get away! Wearing 2 different shades makes it so obvious. xD When I have blue or green eyeshadow, one eye stands out more from the other and I get funny looks and people asking if I forgot to take out a contact lens. I guess it is kinda fun, especially when people first realise it and freak out a bit. I've gotten some funny reactions. xD @Greyone and Zeph and others If the middle of your eye is a different colour and seems to 'fade' a bit, you have central heterochromia. A lot of people with central heterochromia seem to have gold in the centre and then blue/green on the outer. :3 My eyes seem to change through the months too. Some months the difference between them is very noticeable and others I could pass as not having heterochromia. At this time of the year, it's not too noticeable. The weather, maybe? @B-Dog1996 Bahahahaha! xD I reckon the awesome thing about eyes is that no two pairs are the same. I've always wondered what it would be like to have brown eyes for a day or even eyes that are the same colour. ------------- Megapost complete.
(And now you go to sleep....) Nah, it was safe. xD Aaaah. ^^ I few people have been saying they have that. I know a couple people personally who have gold fading to blue/green. It's awesome. Is it the same for both eyes?
Hehhe. xD Eyes are awesome things... It's like how all zebras are called zebras, yet there are different species of zebras all with their own names, and furthermore, no two individuals have the same stripes.
It's actually fairly complicated as to why eye colour is the way it is, So imagine I used a really perfect analogy to explain it. Sent from my Transformer
Eh, I don't even know how to explain it properly either. xP The zebra analogy is crummy. ------- Anyway. Got some pics here: (1st one is a good description of what my heterochromia would be like when the light hits my eyes properly. One is just darker than the other and more towards a blue spectrum. Photo is not of me.) View attachment 5915 http://farm1.static.flickr.com/173/402350988_0c7746dba0.jpg (ermahgerd purple eyes! And yes, it is actually natural but very rare. :O )
INORITE?!D: So jelly. Purple eyes look awesome. Though I reckon with the colouring I have (skin tone and hair) it would look pretty creepy...
Purple eyes would be amazing, but they have a very nasty side effect. The owner is usually either blind, or incredibly sight impaired. I know a guy who has violet eyes and sadly, you never get to see them because of the shades.
