When you edit a post but hit cancel, and then go to edit the post again, it still has all the previous changes you made before you hit cancel, I feel like it shouldn't do that, it should be editing the post made not the edited draft. Just sayin.

I've had the same problem, it gets really annoying.

I've found a temporary fix, if you refresh the page it should put the edit box back to the post you are editing, not perfect by any means. I'll keep this thread open until we find an actual solution.

    It's not a bug, it's a feature. (No, really!)

The site is setup to save drafts of your messages every 60 seconds and it keeps them for 24 hours. If you are making a long post and something happens while you are writing it, this comes in VERY handy.

To be honest, I think that having to hit Ctrl-A then delete is much less of an annoyance then losing a 15000+ character post and having to restart it.

okay it's a feature, editing is a part of messaging and affects edits and new posts the same, as a work around you can Copy your post before making any changes so you can paste it all back if you need to, or refresh the page.
