If ads don't show for some, it could be seen as an attempt to prevent livestream's services from recieving money being paid to them for advertising. As for rules revolving vulgarity, if they want to be that forceful they might as well put an agegate on all Livestream channels and chats to prevent minors from hearing a few bad words. I know it's a bad influence to curse near kids, but honestly, from what I see around me most minors have heard far worse because their parents allowed the kids to watch shows rated for audiences older than the kid's age.
Yeah, the ads thing wasn't intentional and we didn't know what to make of it but for some reason the new player didn't show ads for some people If we get this sorted out, we'll probably have to return to the original player.
Shame, I really liked Ripp's. Well, I guess nothing's for certain yet, and the original was just as good.
Wasn't the new version made mainly to show the name of the song? Won't be much of a step backwards to revert to the original...
Ok I guess I chose the worse time to take a nap. First up I doubt Its my player as I made no attempt to prevent the adverts and they seemed to not appear by default. Secondlly someponies still get the adverts Thirdly to access the player like I allowed us too I had to sign up and obtain a DEV KEY, this key is linked to my account and the domain name "radio.everypony.com", Its in no way linked to grey's account the only way it could be is that a stream off grey's account is viewed with it BUT I could easily use it to view any stream. Seems odd that if that was the problem livestream would penalise grey and not me, That would be like fining the owner of a store that gets robbed. That being said I did glance through the TOS and I see no problems, I glanced over the API section and nothing. The other thing is that I still have to use a core section to build around which takes care of the overlay ect. Surly ads would be included at this level? Ok well em non-sleep now I guess since I just had a nap.
I'd also like to throw in that the two communities I frequent online (Blocktopia and Everypony) are both having issues, EP with the radio and Blocktopia's predicament with Brohoster.
I rather return to the old player. I get way too many ads on that player while others don't get ads at all. I'll just ask for somepony to give me the song name :derpe:
