I just wanted to know about cool things you might have done with your friends. Cool conversations you want to share? Cool things you've done? Or maybe on a serious note maybe they have helped you in dark times or gave you support when you needed it. Anyway something like this MIGHT already exist so if it does I guess this needs to be taken down. But still any cool things or awesome instances you've had with your friends would be cool. Maybe even you have cool ways you met or something. This thread was literally inspired by the title of MLP:FiM as you may have guessed! In the meantime enjoy Cheerilee! ::S:

Tl;Dr If you have the coolest friends feel free to share some cool experience here

Edit: also inspired by Foxys story

My group of friends I have generally look towards me when they have issues with each other. I feel like I'm our little personal psychiatrist or something.

I remember a couple years back, two of them who were great friends got into this huge brawl over something they were discussing before I showed up. I intervened and perhaps saved their friendship for another year.
Now, one of them left our group a year later and joined the "Cool Dudes" group, but that's not the point. I've been able to help with some emotional problems that goes on in our group, and it makes me happy to see that they're still together because of some of those things.

As a result of meeting up with someone during [insert superlegal activity here], I saw him playing Dark Souls and that reminded me of the heart-attack-lolz-worthy moments I had on that game.

Backstory: So my friend "PZ" owned Dark Souls (PS3) with online capability. Well, he was very far into the game (level 60-ish fighting the Dragon Knight & Executioner) and had done his share of dying and learning. Since he was basically stuck, and I really wanted to play, he offered to simply watch me and somewhat guide me for fun. Bear in mind, I'd never played this nor Demon Souls (its spiritual precursor).

First Instance: After spending something like a week of getting destroyed in the first major area outside of the tutorial level, I finally got a little bit of the combat system and the controls. After a brutal, epic skirmish to the boss of that major area, I managed to take him down (with a lot of luck) and finish with NO flasks left. I was at about 60% health. Well, the game's "save point" equivalent is a campfire. However, using one resets all monsters that you cleared in its relative area to prevent easy passage (but allows grinding to level up instead).

Well, after this boss, I was scared and kept asking where the next campfire was. I busted a left and met some useless NPC, but to the right was a large, open bridge to the castle keep. After closer inspection, it was littered with skeletal knights. No big deal, I've been fighting these all game, I thought. At this point, I say to PZ, "I really hope a big *** dragon comes and torches this bridge for me. That would be cool." So, deciding to play it as safe as possible, I inched forward and pulled the first skeletal knight by himself. I'm nervous because I'm still not 100% on blocking/parrying/dodge-strafing yet. As the knight gets closer, I engage and start by blocking in case he attacks first.

AND OUT OF NOWHERE A BIG *** ****ING DRAGON COMES AND TORCHES THE BRIDGE INCLUDING ME. I DIE AND HAVE TO START ALL THE WAY FROM THE ****ING BEGINNING AND PZ ALMOST HAS A DAMN HERNIA FROM LAUGHING SO HARD WHILE I'M RAGING.

Yeah... he absolutely refused to tell me that was coming and remained stone-faced.

When I turned 18 a few weeks ago, me and two friends went to the beach in the evening.

We lied down in the sand, watching the sun set in sea. We watched the stars, and looked at the boulevard upside down by lying on our backs (which looks really cool).
Then we got all philosphical, pondering the meaning of life and stuff.

Hadn't felt that alive in a long while. I may not be the most social guy ever, but as long as I may experience something like this once in a while my life is more than complete.

When our power got shut off in our old house, my cousin, brother, and I would talk about philosophical and futuristic stuff. Sometimes it would become a bit too realistic for my tastes, though.
