(Well, considering the nature of this RP, there is really no need for a true introductory post. So, I guess you guys can go ahead and introduce your characters. Hope you enjoy this RP!)
(I'm gonna go with morning to start) Pepperdance, awake long before the sunrise, spun around her kitchen with spices. Putting dashes of everything on different plates scattered about the room. She finished, standing before an extensive spice rack where she put away all the different tubes she was holding. "Cyan, peprica, cinnamon, and finally salt." She turned away and grabbed the dishes one by one placing them on the central island table. "And once again, I got carried away. Looks like I'll be having eggs for lunch today..." She laughs slightly before grabbing one of the plates and carrying it with her through the double doors into her restraunt. She flicked on the lights and the television behind the bar, before finally sitting down and eating. (fairly certain this is my longest post ever in character)
Goldie woke up in the morning smiling as she prepared herself for her first day as student teacher at Ponyville elementary. She was assigned to Cheerilee and was going to be assessed by her so she was fairly relaxed. She combed her hair before grabbing some textbooks from her study and heading out for the teacher meeting before the fillies and colts arrived.
Disk was siting in a wooden chair at a table, thinking, & being bored because he hasn't been hired for quite some time, so he just sat at the table drinking a Roy Rogers out of a can & a glass bottle
Snow gently woke from the sun shining through her window onto her face, taking a deep peaceful breath she got out of bed and walked over to her calendar to see if she had anything to do, "Hm...Looks like there's a board meeting scheduled for today..." She muttered, "Always so much fun." She muttered to herself sarcastically before sighing, "Well, might as well get ready." She then proceeded to slip into her business suit, comb her mane, and other little self-grooming things, then walked out into the brisk Ponyville morning barely 30 minutes later, picking 2 White Hope flowers from her garden, one she nibbled on as she walked towards the town train station, and the other she tucked into her mane just behind her ear. "A whole new day, a whole new experience!" she told as she walked through Ponyville, which was already starting to wake up, like the fillies heading to class, and vendor stalls starting to be set up.
*Yawn* Water Wings woke up bright and early in the morning. Stretching, the first thing she noticed was that she had a face full of tail. The second thing she noticed was that her pink mane was probably the worst catastrophe since Nightmare Moon attacked. Chuckling to herself, Water proceeded to attempt to wrangle both messes into an acceptable condition. After a quick breakfast (consisting of a single apple), she hurried off to Ponyville Lake. Her parents always went off to work very early, and she didn't usually see them until they got back late at night. Her father was a retired racer, although Water found it strange that he didn't talk much about it. He now worked as a flight instructor in at Cloudsdale School. Because her family lived in Ponyville, he had a rather long commute. Her mother worked as an accountant at Ponyville Town Hall. Water didn't fly to the lake, despite the fact that she was a pegasus. She walked everywhere, she wasn't a good flyer. Oh she could fly alright, but she preferred to walk, as it took a lot of effort for her to stay in the air. This used to be highly embarrassing for the family, because, as I've said, her father was a retired racer. Until they discovered that she was an astounding swimmer. She may be only 14, nearly 15, but she was the youngest pony ever to be inducted into the International Equestrian Olympics. She was on the Ponyville swim team. The games would be held in Canterlot later that year, and she was very exited, as she had never been to Canterlot before. Every morning she raced down to Ponyville Lake, and this morning was no exception. She needed to practice, Ponyville's swim team hadn't won a medal since the 1953 Olympics held in the Griffon Kingdom. The medal was bronze. She knew that they could win this year, she just knew it! The lake was deserted, that was expected, she was one of the only ponies with reason to be out here this early in the morning. There was a very good reason her wings were not the best for flying. She was called Water Wings for a reason. Immediately she galloped to the end of the dock and dove straight in. She could hold her breath longer than your average pony, and she felt most at home underwater. If you watched, you would be astounded to see how she swam, she could not fly well in air, but underwater she soared! Her wings were built for flying underwater! As she dove down to the bottom of the lake and did a couple of loop-de-loops, she smiled, feeling at peace with the world as she swam through a school of friendly sunfish. It was as though even the fish liked her. As Water propelled herself towards the surface, she thought that nothing could be better than this.
(Hey, Water Wings, you haven't signed up for this RP. You can do that here: http://www.everypony.com/forums/showthread.php?11417-Life-(the-sign-ups) ) Eluuna pulled a warm cake out, and began to work on the icing, mushing up mint leaves, vanilla, and other ingredients.
Delphinium dropped the last of his supplies on his desk with a grunt and drew a hoof over his forehead. Become a weight lifter! You won't have any issues! He thought to himself, but immediately chuckled at his own ridiculous comment. Weight lifter? Pff. He decided to just leave the stuff there and get it when he came back. Not like it would sprout hooves and prance out of the building, right? Delphinium wandered out of his store and locked the door behind him, listening to his stomach growl at him. His ears flopped and he growled back at it. Turning to the town, he decided to get himself something nice and sweet to eat.
Quickstar gazed around casually at the town that was to be his home for the next year. He'd been meaning to take a sabbatical from Celestia's School, and finally decided that Ponyville would be an interesting enough place to do so. After all, there seemed to be a disaster here every week, and there was sure to be enough mystery and excitement to keep him occupied if the trend continued. He arrived at the house he was renting, unhitching himself from the wagon and starting to bring his belongings in. Some books, a few knick-knacks, a couple bags of bits, and several other personal belongings he didn't want to leave in Canterlot for an entire year.
Disk left his apartment & trudged along in a bored fashion, looking for a decent place to eat, but not paying much attention to anything, & just walking
Pepperdance twirled out of her home and restaurant, humming a tune to herself as she shut her door and locked it. "Celestia's sun bright in the sky- lalala." She had her eyes closed and turned to start walking into town, accidentally bumping into Disk's side and knocking the two of them over.
Disk stood up,"s-sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going...", then offers to help pepperdance up by holding out a hoof
"N-no, it's my fault... Thanks." Pepperdance takes Disk's hoof and he pulls her up. "So...What are you doing wandering around here so early Mr..."
"You can call me disk, & I 'as bored so I left my home to go & eat... And you are who?", his voice crackled
"Uh... Pepperdance. Hey, if you want to eat something I accidentally made myself too much breakfast if you want some... I mean, if you don't mind having your eyes melt out of your head." She smiles and motions to her home behind them. She accents the eye melting part of her sentence by running her hooves down her face.
Disk chuckles,"sure, I wouldn't mind having something like that...", disk's voice cracks, then he follows
Pepperdance quickly unlocks the door, heading in before Disk. By the time he's entered she has a warm plate of eggs and sausage, with milk and a bowl of bright red oatmeal on the side, sitting on the bar. "Just a warning, I'd save the milk for after you eat." She giggles and heads back into the kitchen. Rummaging metal sounds can be heard.
"Why?", disk called up, & sits down, feeling slightly skeptical about the food after pepper's last sentence
"The name of the restaurant is "The Spice Of Life", and my name is Pepperdance. You figure it out!" Pepperdance calls from the kitchen. She finally returns with a black apron, surrounded by white frills, on. She goes behind the counter and pulls some glasses out from below the counter and starts cleaning them. "I figure I'll get it done now, since I'm here anyway. Plus people say it's easier to talk to your bartender than anyone else. Tell me what you think of the food when you can." She smiles.
