Kleft's eye twitched and he stared at Snow a moment. Light? Anything but... he thought with slight annoyance, but he had no way of telling her with their new escort. Instead, he gave his best (albeit crappy) smile and followed closely behind Pepper.
Snow noticed how Kleft reacted to the false name she gave to him, and silently chuckled to herself, and before fully following into line following Pepper, she playfully 'accidentally' slightly bumped into Kleft, just enough to slightly knock him off balance, "Oops, my bad Light." she said with a grin, "Didn't mean to do that!" before turning her attention to following Pepper
Quickstar was just finishing the last of his cupcake when he heard a long drawn-out gasp behind him. He turned around just in time to see a pink blur streaking away. Huh, he thought. I wonder what that was all about... With nothing better to do for the rest of the day, he decided to take a stroll around and explore the town that was to be his home for the next year.
"I present the Spice of Life." Pepperdance pushes open the door and leads the two inside, looking at Disk's equipment in a mild form of awe. "Whoa... Um, Disk, I present Snow and her friend Light."
Disk looks over, then his eyes widen,"the snow! I've heard so much of you!", disk says, getting up, walking over to the others & holding out a hoof
Snow gave Disk her well-practiced smile for just these kinds of things, when she was supposed to act her part of being happy and upbeat no matter what, "Heh, yes, I am the Snow Mark of Mark Corporations." She told Disk as she shook Disk's hoof, "Uh, if you don't mind, but I would rather have work far from my mind on one of my few times of freedom."
"Oh my, yes. Work must be exhausting for you! Please, let me make you something. I specialize in spicy foods, but I can make almost anything." Pepperdance's smile looked too large for her face.
Snow shook her head and raised a hoof, "It's fine, we just ate recently. But I think I may have a surprise for you." Snow dug into a coat pocket and withdrew a White Hope flower, "Give it a try! It's sweet, tangy, and goes with just about anything!"
Snow chuckled at Disk's question, "What brings me here? I've lived here for 5 years!" She said, "Well, I guess that's what happens when one is literally always working at their house..." Snow sighed and sat down, "Not often I get a chance to go out and meet ponies."
"I wouldn't know you lived here, I just moved here from Stalliongrad... So, that could be an excuse...", disk cracked out, chuckling
Snow nodded, "Of course. You know, I recently had some business in Stalliongrad, it was not a pleasant place in the slightest. You must be fairly happy to be out of there, huh?"
"Food!" Pepper walked out of the kitchen with a bowl of fruits, a couple sandwiches on a ceramic plate, and a bright red bowl of soup. "Can't beat a classic. Grilled cheese and tomato soup. All home grown and made of course." She smiled and put everything down on a table. "Don't worry about your friends Disk. Friends are everywhere for anyone who looks for em. You already have me don't you?" She laughs slightly.
Kleft stayed slightly behind, watching the ponies do their thing. When the food was brought out, he licked his lips, staring at it. Despite having just eaten, the aroma of fresh fruit and sandwiches made his stomach growl again. I'm going to become one fat pony on the mainland, he thought as he levitated a sandwich off the table, dipping it in soup and taking a bite out of it, showing his pleasure clearly in his face.
