She laughed, tilting her head. "I want to hug you as tightly as I can," she told him earnestly. "Not in a weird way. I just want to be hugging you."
She looked absolutely starstruck, crawling onto his lap gently and cupping his jaw with her hands. "Really really? You mean it?"
She beamed, wrapping her arms around his neck and her legs around his waist, laughing gleefully. "Ohmygod, this is great."
"Yeah, and you are a very intimidating, serious guy," she replied. "I never thought this would be something you'd let me do."
She kissed his forehead, her fingers running through his hair. “You’re a little scary, Abel. Do you remember when we first met?”
