Neon Nights

She looked down at him, cupping his jaw.

“Hello.”

 

She laughed, burying her face in his neck sleepily.

“And I’m on top of you. What happened last night?”

 

She sighed, shaking her head.

“You have no guarantee that I didn’t have it off at some point. Do you remember what happened?”

 

She squinted at him.

“The world can’t see me with no shirt on for a whole night. That would be too generous.”

 

She laughed sleepily, slipping off of him to curl up next to him, her face buried in his neck.

“Do you have a headache?”

 

“Mmhm...” she murmured, her face buried in his neck. “The light is too bright.”

 

She relaxed, inhaling deeply as she cuddled up next to him.

“Thanks, Abes.”

 

She planted soft kisses on his neck gently, the action feeling more sweet rather than lustful.

 

“I’m just still drunk,” she told him sleepily. “I wouldn’t be this close if I was sober.”

 

She sat up sleepily.

“I’m gonna go shower, okay?”
