Her gaze flickered up to him as she frowned. "I thought... I thought you said it was great... you could have told me if you were suffering..."
She shrugged a little, looking at the mural on the wall. "It's fine, Abel. I'm just sorry I didn't realize it sooner. I'll make it up to you."
"Yeah. I mean, you clearly didn't enjoy it your first time," she said flatly. "So I'll have to make it up to you..."
He occasionally glanced up at her, but remained quiet throughout. Eventually, they had it finished, and he moved to the mattress. "Help me put this on?"
She nodded cheerfully, taking the other corner and moving to set it on the frame. “God, we’re amazing.”
