Only one or two of my friends know and they found out when they came to my house and I put my PC on and they saw my desktop...... I think they knew right away when they saw RainbowDash on it. One of them turned out to be abit of a brony too, so it was all good for me. But I think they know that I don't care what they say about me or too me. And its fine, I know they ain't real and I just put up with them now.

Only one way to find out. Tell them, see what happens. If you fear your worst dreams will come true, then do something about it before it can happen.

Tell your best friend first. That's the best advice I can give really, because my friends don't really know. But only my best friend does. But I'm essentially forced to put a hypothetical mask on and hide my bronydom from others. Even my best friend pulls me aside sometimes and questions me "Why do you hide it?" ...I honestly don't know.

If you're really concerned, tell your best friend at least. I'm sure that there will be a bit of teasing but nothing serious. You just have to slip it into a conversation. Who knows, you may even convert him.

You can remember millions of bad thing which have and will happen: but none of them have any chance of existing.

Thanks for all the advice. I will find a way to deal with it but i wouldnt tell any of my friends right now that im a bronie. I also think its something different over gere in germany then in the US. MLP isnt THAT popular over here at all becuase its more like a Internet miracle. Anyway thanks to everypony.

It depends on what your friends do in their free time. Here in Britain, MLP isn't huge. The only way my friends and I found out about it was through the internet. If your friends spend a lot of time on the internet, they may've come across it before. If they don't, then the idea of bronies is probably going to sound completely stupid.

If you're really curious, just say to them "Have you heard about these grown men watching MLP?". This way, you get their response without revealing that you're a brony. Depending on their reaction, you can choose what to do from there.

Haha, thanks Timotei. I dont think there will be a worst case scenario at all, it was just a dream, but it was horrible.

Don't worry about them finding out or not. Even if they do find out, if they're good friends then they will support, or at least accept your bronydom. Otherwise there kinda jerks aren't they? I know how it is to lose a friend, since most of mine have backstabbed me to move up the social ladder. But if you take pride in being a Brony, and tell them why you like it, then if they're true friends they'll stick with you, and maybe even join the herd.

There will obviously be hard times if word gets around. People have an instinctive reaction to crush anything that makes them feel uncomfortable, but if you're friends are cool with it, you have them to turn to, and don't forget that if worst comes to worst, you'll always have us to support you. Just keep on living the way you want to live, and don't let anything stop you.

If your friends judge you negatively for being a Brony, then they were never really your friends. :(
