Likes: Bananas, history of Equestria, cooking (he's not real good, though), and flying. Abilities: An older pony, Winter focused on speed when he was training, and while he's not the fastest pony in Equestria, he is the most skilled. He's developed a "sixth sense" over the years, which allows him to predict where ponies are going to be while he's flying, so he could zoom through a crowd at high speed and miss every one of them. This ability also helps him spot details others miss. He may not understand their significance right away, but if something sticks out to him, he'll keep it in mind. When not flying, he's usually writing, preferring "historical" tales over straight fiction, he tries to blend actual events with gripping tales of daring ponies. Although he spent some time at his father's workshop and second-hand store and met the occasional customers, he grew somewhat antisocial to the point where he avoided to visit the same shop too often and sometimes went to entirely different corners of the town to get his groceries or something just to not get known too well by anypony. This made life not really easy for him the first days after he moved to Ponyville (he came to town in the dark of night so nopony would see him). He speaks with a Manehattanite dialect, although not quite as posh as what the high society speaks. He is somewhat helpful. He puts his telekinetic abilities to good use when he feels he has to because somepony else needs that kind of help. He used to work as an occasional stagehoof at music clubs in Manehattan, mostly to get a bit in touch with the scene, and because it earned him a few extra bits. Even for ponies, city life is more expensive. He also met Vinyl Scratch a.k.a. DJ P0N-3 that way, and to his surprise, she remembered him when they met in Ponyville. Pulse makes music, but he doesn't care much what ponies want to listen to. He puts a lot of actual composition and arrangement into his music instead of simply putting together loops. Before he came to Ponyville, he only ever released one album under a pseudonym which doesn't have a picture of him anywhere on the cover. It wasn't much of a hit, in fact, he's surprised whenever somepony mentions they know his music or even have his album. But the money he receives from that small record company every now and then has to come from somewhere. Although he doesn't take socialising easily, let alone making friends, he is a good and patient listener. He might not always have something to say in reply (even though he is smart), but at least he listens. Once you get to know him a bit more and earn his trust, you'll find that his deliberate semi-solitude made him somewhat cynical and snarky. He's good at heart, he just doesn't show it often. Trying to cheer him up is mostly futile, although Ponyville's social climate has begun to affect him very slowly. If he gets to like somepony more, even falls in love, he tends to get confused and feel uneasy. This happened once after he came to Ponyville. Likes: Music, black tea, the occasional chocolate muffin, nights, taking walks outside (can be inspiring), Vinyl Scratch (his best buddy now), a certain other mare (see above) Dislikes: Caffeine, being the centre of attention (unless playing music live which doesn't happen that often), frilly clothes, too repetitive music with little composition involved Abilities: Most of Pulse Wave's skills have to do with music because he did little else for years. He began by playing keyboard instruments with his hooves which turned out quite awkward because they were clearly not made for creatures with only hooves like ponies (as opposed to some virtuous young dragons and griffons, for example). But he found out that he had two more ways of playing them, namely by using telekinesis on keys and controllers and even by using his magic on the electronics directly. He got used to playing these ways so much that he can play music which almost seems orchestral because he can channel his musical ideas into the instruments directly by now. He got his cutie mark after trying out a second-hand synthesiser which had ended up in his father's store. He eventually bought that instrument. Before that, he learned from his father (who does this for a living) how to fix certain technical devices. Other than all this, he knows the usual deal of unicorn magic, the stuff you learn at school and in daily life. Telekinesis/levitation (remember that self-levitation doesn't work), light magic, mostly the basics, but he's quite good at them.

Alright, I figured it was about time that I added myself to this list. Here we go - Name - Sungazer Subgenus - Pegasus Coat - Ivory Mane & Tail - Long and wavy, chocolate-brown with pale yellow streaks Eyes - Gold Cutie Mark - Stylized representation of the Summer Sun Celebration Solar Arch History - Born to a Cloudsdale Weather Technician named Skyrider and a Barista Pegasus named Sweet Creme, Sungazer (then named Cloudy, for often having his head in the clouds) was, like many Cloudsdale Pegasi, enrolled in Flight School at a young age. However, not having inherited his father's propensity for physical activity, his marks were mostly poor, and he was the subject of occasional bullying. Depressed and introverted, the foal spent much of his time in the library, reading tales of high adventure and mystery. However, his life took a turn when he saw Princess Celestia in pony for the first time. She drew his rapt attention with her beauty, but it was the ease and grace with which she settled the seemingly complicated dispute which had drawn her that truly drew him to her. After that, his choices in reading became more focused. Eventually, his parents took him to a Summer Sun Celebration taking place in a nearby village, and when he saw the Princess raise the Sun, he inwardly devoted himself to bringing the light of her wisdom and the wisdom of the Elements of Harmony to every pony he could, earning his cutie mark in the process. His application to join the Solar Scribes - an order of loremasters, recordkeepers, and counselors - was put in only a year later, and he was subsequently apprenticed to a Unicorn Solar Scribe named Epoch (himself named for the very first Solar Scribe). The rest is history. Personality - Sungazer is a friendly pony above all else. Patient and understanding (at times to a fault), he is slow to anger and slower to cast judgement, quick to apologize, making an effort to see things from all perspectives and keep in heart the possibility he could be wrong. Though he isn't the most courageous or decisive pony, he is a great moderator, and often a softening influence on ponies who need it. He does, however, at times overburden himself, and the resultant frustrated explosion is often unpleasant and invariably followed by a sea of apologies. He is also often quick to make unnecessary and even thoughtless risks for others. In the time he has to himself, he reads and writes. Still deeply in love with tales of high adventure, he still DOES have his head in the clouds. He also writes, both factual treatises and hypothetical fiction (many of which involve romance, and some of which are based on ponies he actually knows). He's also often seen with his beloved brother Pageturner, cheering the colt on and trying to help him find his cutie mark (which he mysteriously doesn't have even into adulthood). However, as a mediocre flier, certain feats are out of his league, especially many relating directly to wind and cyclones. The little filly, beforehand, had played with Luna when they were children while her brother watched over her protectively. She had many siblings, mostly from her stepfather, Maroon Sky McFallon. She and her brother close, close enough that they could read each others thoughts through concentration. Their father was the uncle of the two princesses: Prince Cosmos. He came down from the heavens once every five years to rearrange the constellations, and influence all of Equestria to have pleasant dreams. His powers consisted of the control of dreams and nightmares. When the twins were born, they inherited one of both. Sapphyre Dream inherited the control of nightmares, while her brother, gained control of dreams. When he left, right before they were born, their mother, a Pegasus, was heart-broken and almost died in childbirth of the twins, met their stepfather and fell in love. When Cosmos returned, he was heart-broken. When came the time for the fall of Luna, he sided with her and tried to lead the uprising with Luna, he died. This shocked the families. They were overrun when Celestia sealed away Nightmare Moon, thus causing the Manor to be overrun in the process. In attempt to protect his twin filly, her brother used his power to seal Sapphyre Dream's memories away from her, and putting her into a deep sleep inside a large crystal. When Luna was released from her darkness, the spell broke and released her. As a teen, all she knew was her name, believed she was a simple Pegasus pony, and scraped together a small amount of money to open up a cafe and lived there ever since. Her split personalities is a result from being sealed away for so long, as well as the loss of her horn. She won't ever awaken to her true power unless someone recognizes who she is. The Princesses have no idea their cousin still lives, and her twin brother disappeared after the raid, presumed dead.
