(Wow, this RP Is going fast. just some hours and ya'll come up with a huge story. Wow! Anywelp....) J, after finally recovering from the laughing fit and saw that more ponies where talking about things that he didn't understand, he decided to head back home and prepare for the next day. He exited the shop with his Poison Joke Bag and the money Jhera gave him for fixing his roof. He placed them in the wagon and secured all of his things and went towards home. It was a hut just on the hborder of Ponyville, on the rout towards Canterlot. He always has to take the park in order to make it faster. He first passed the local library and passed in front of a boutique. He entered the park and saw lot of ponies today. Some ponies were distracted when j passed in front of them, catching the smells from his wagon. Finally exiting the park, he followed the road to a hut on the road. Next to the hut was a garage, he entered it and left the wagon inside. He placed the bags into their respective places and took the bags of bits towards inside. He entered the living room, their was only a large rug, a small aquarium in a large table next to the door and a sofa was next to the rug. He entered his room and placed the bag of bits under his bed. He grabbed a small bag and filled it up. Placing the bag on his jacket, he left his hut and went towards the park. He decided to take a rest under a large tree in the park. He sat in their and enjoyed the view.
Jhera coughed at Snow's reaction. "Um, yes, of course, Celestia." Jhera had inherited his terrible lying skills from his parents. "Anyhow, what do you think of that idea? Should we go pay a visit to Princess Luna up in Canterlot?"
"Yea sure, and Dark should be able to get us in, her being in the guard and all." Snow said. There was a knocking on the door, and Snow went to investigate, after the sounds of a happy meeting, Snow came in with a black pegasus. "You think you can get us access to Luna?" Snow asked Dark. She nodded, "Well then, let's go!"
After a couple of minutes, Angel returned to her exploration of the city. No signs of any temple yet, and the time was going fast. Some pony expected her, but she saw nopony waiting for her anywhere. She had passed by the train station, and walked on the city's frontiers, just to see if somepony would call her name. Without any success, she finally arrived near town hall. She sighed and walked inside, guessing to see a city map somewhere. She walked to the front desk. "Hi, i'm Angel Wisom. I'm from canterlot, and i'm the new priest of the Solar temple. Unfortunately, i haven't seen any signs leading to it." The mare at the desk looked at her. "I don't know what you're talking about. There's no temple in ponyville, Miss Wisdom. I'm sorry to tell you, but there isn't any trains for canterlot tonight. Maybe you should find a group of pegasi and travel with them? Or we have an Hotel at the end of the street, 'Hay and Stay'. Can i help you with anything else?" "No, thank you... " The mare returned to her things, leaving Angel at her own business. She sighed, walked outside, and looked in the sky. She could see the lights of Canterlot. "She's right, let's follow a group of pegasi, and return home. Boring, dusty home."
"So, shall we take the train?" Jhera asked as they walked along. "I heard that they're out of commission today, so we'll need another way to get to Canterlot." Jhera scunched his face. "Actually, I got nothing. How are we supposed to get to Canterlot?"
"Here, It'll be hard, but I think I can do a teleport." Snow said. Her horn glee brightly, a flash, and there they were, in Canterlot's main square. Snow stumbled and fell into Dark, who caught her fall, "You ok Snow?" she asked. Snow nodded before getting back up, "Let's go."
"H...hold on!" Jhera said as he stumbled around. "Teleporting...doesn't seem to fare well with me..." He shook his head and recollected himself. "Ugh, sorry, give me a little more warning before doing that. We can go now"
They found their way through the streets to the Palace and once their, all it took was one look from the guards at Dark and they were let through, "Being the Master Protector over Canterlot does have its benefits, such as unlimited access to the castle." Dark said. She lead led them to a pair of doors that were slightly bigger than regular doors, "This is Luna's chamber." Dark said before rapping sharply on the door, "Princess, it is Master Protector Dark Light, I have V.I.P.'s who wish to meet with you." she said through the door. "Come on in." Luna replied from behind the door. Dark opened a door to reveal Luna sitting on a small throne in a room crowded with desks and other things, each being worked by a seperate pony. Snow walked up to Luna and bowed, "Ah Snow, it's been a while, what brings thou to Canterlot." Luna said as Snow raised. Snow looked up and said simply, "I know about our true relation." Luna's eyes suddenly got wide and shooed the trio into another room, "Alright, what is it?" she said after she made sure they were alone.
"Did you know Hibiscus!?" Jhera blurted out. "He would have lived during the Feudal era? He didn't write much, and I'd like to know more about how my family li..." he trailed off. "Oh...sorry princess...got a little excited..."
"I'm sorry, but if what you say is true, that you know my sister and I's real history, I guess there's no harm in telling. If you want to know about Hibiscus, you will have to talk to Celestia, or Snow, both are her name. My father was Trecarius, and I was the earth pony daughter, and I was only lifted when the war turned sour for Celestia. She raised me to be an Alicorn and together we made the Elements of Harmony." Luna said, "Look, if you want better information, speak with my sister, oh, and Snow, how did you know?" Snow turned to Luna as they were leaving, "Let's just say I'm Celestia's great times a lot granddaughter." Snow said. (Jhera, I'll let you do the first part of the Celestia meeting.)
Jhera gulped. They were going to see Celestia? Like, the alicorn that raised the sun every day Celestia? Wouldn't she be angry about this? "Uhm, I...I suppose we could ask her..." He said nervously. They were quickly ushered out of the room and Luna teleported away. "That...told us almost nothing." Jhera pouted. "Okay, looks like we can't get anything out of them! Let's just go home and-" he stopped upon seeing the look Snow was giving him. 'Oh dear...' He thought. Before he knew it, they were in Celestia's court, standing in front of the magnificent white alicorn who was staring down upon them. "Well?" She said, impatiently. "What is it?" Jhera glanced at Snow, and she gave him a reassuring look. This is not exactly what he was planning on. "Well...Celestia..." he said in the most polite tone he knew, "I...ah...I actually believe we should be talking in a more private place." She gave him a look of disapproval. 'So much for that idea. I wonder what it's like on the moon?' Jhera thought. He swallowed again. "Well, we were doing a bit of snoop- NO exploring, and we came across the fact that you may have perchance...risen yourself to alicorn power after the move to Equestria. We have also found about your relations with Snow...considering you ARE Snow." Her face at this moment made him want to back out of there and squeeze himself into the tiniest ball possible. 'Why?!' he thought with frustration. "Of course, I come with a question. I wish to know more about one of my ancestors, Hibiscus Flower. I believe you knew him well, judging from what I read in his few quick journals of when he was alive. Could you, perchance, tell me of...him?" The stare down he was getting at this moment filled him with so much terror he couldn't continue, and could only wait for her answer.
Angel had flew to Canterlot, and went at the temple. She knocked at the huge main doors, with no answer. She loocked at the clock next to the entrance. She was too late; the openening hours were out. She sighed and walked slowly to some park, in wich she'll sleep until it would be late enough to go at the temple.
Celestia gave a worried look at Snow that said, Is he alright?! She looked back at Jhera, "Also, if you had read the journal, which you would have HAD to do to learn of my past, you have also seen that the Elements of Harmony turned me into a peaceful, benovolent ruler. Now, to answer your question: Hibicus was a selfish, suspicious, private stallion that was drunk half the time, to put it blatantly. But once you dug through his layers, as I did with my unlikely knowledge of farming and my being a crossbreed, he was a good pony." Celestia said.
"...is that all you can tell me?" Jhera said. "I understand he was selfish, he kept the White Hope flower to himself. I understand he was suspicious, he hated all pegasi. I understand he was private, he kicked his own daughter out of the house. Finally, I understand that he was drunk half the time, considering one of his letters said 'Hail potato crops, bless them.' Is there any deeper facts you could tell me about him? His accomplishments? Perhaps his daughter, Marigold?"
"Let's see here..." Celestia said, thinking back, "Well, he really only had one true accomplishment, and that was being the head earth pony representative during the Union. On his daughter Marigold..." Celestia face darkened, "All I remember is that she was a lieutenant for Tremalion during the Civil War, I was forced to have her executed after the war because she refused to lay down her arms."
"Oh dear..." Jhera said. "I never knew she went into league with Tremalion! That changes a lot! Not to mention, the execution explains why her letters stopped so suddenly." He whipped out his book and began filling out extra pages of this new information. "Your turn, Snow." He mumbled through the pencil that was in his mouth.
Snow looked right at Celestia and asked, "If I'm directly descendant from you, what does that make me? And did you know that I was when you took me as a pupil?" Celestia looked at Snow and smiled softly, "Well that makes you a princess Snow." Celestia laughed a bit before saying, "Two Princesses by the name of Snow, who would have thought. And to answer your second question, no and yes, I knew that you were related, I just didn't know just how directly. Anything else?" Snow shook her head and looked and Jhera, "Do you have anything else Jhera?"
"Waph?" Jhera spit his pencil out and looked back at Princess Celestia. "Just one more thing, Princess." He said. "In one of Marigold's anger-filled letters, she mentioned finding a way to have saved Hibiscus two years after his death, and it involved a White Hope flower. Did you have anything to do with that attempt to save his life?"
Celestia sighed, "Yes, I tried to save his life, I wanted him to help with my rise to power, possibly even elevate him to alicorn status. Now, with that being done with, I shall send you on home." Celestia's horn glew and they found themselves back in Snow's living room. Snow collapsed onto a couch, holding her head, "Me, a princess, who would have thought..."
Jhera fell over, his face chalk white. "I think I'm going to throw up..." he said. He forced himself to keep his stomach in place and stood back up. "I knew that much, but I never knew she planned on making Hibiscus an alicorn! Just think of what he could have-" Jhera stopped. He remembered the letter about rejecting Snow's offer for a seat at the table. "No...he never would have accepted it..." he said slowly. "Hibiscus would have been a terrible ruler, and he knew it. How sad that Celestia didn't realize he would have rejected her again..." he collected his bags and walked towards the door. "Thanks for that, I learned a lot about my family's history!" As he reached the door, he looked back and said "Oh, and don't worry, your secret is safe with me." With that, he walked out the door and trotted back home, thinking over the day's events.
