"Wait, I like my liquor! It makes me feel all fuzzy. But, I do limit myself." Avice poked him, grinning.
He curled against the pokes. "You think you do, but apparently the fuzzy feeling brings a desire for MURDER."
Avice fell to her knees. "I just wanted the fuzzy.." She raised her fists in the air. "But at what cost?!"
Jack jumped slightly when Avice fell to her knees, clearly not expecting her to make any sudden movements, but the shock quickly became amusement as he laughed so hard that he had to hold the side of the ship for support. "This is... probably not very appropriate," he said finally. "I mean, Jade did get stabbed in the back."
Avice got back on her feet, stifling any snickers. "Yes, you're right. It's not best to joke about, but it can a spare a laugh at least once, right?"
Jack laughed. "No, not really. But, I mean, she got stabbed in the damn back and didn't die. She could probably kill everyone on this ship if she wanted to." He patted Avice on the shoulder cheerfully. "Don't worry, Rohesia. You are definitely the scariest."
Avice smirked. "Good. Gotta keep up a threatening demeanor if I'm going to survive this place." She said, leaning over a rail to look into the water. "Sorry to tell you, but.. you're not very scary to me."
Jack laughed, shaking his head and joining her at the railing. "Really? Is it because I was scared of that spider?"
He cocked his head in thought, and nudged Avice with his elbow. "Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" he asked.
He grinned easily and nodded in satisfaction. "Good. I'm glad. I guess I can deal with the humiliation of not being very intimidating."
"Oh, it's not that humiliating! You can be used as bait for the bad guys!" Avice spoke in an angelic and innocent voice. "Not so bad!"
Avice lightly placed a hand on his shoulder. "Oh, I just teasing. I'm sure you're en excellent fighter!"
