(You all may begin when ready) Alice and her Shuppet waited patiently in the back of the laboratory, waiting for the other trainers to arrive.
Adam woke up that morning, got dressed, and ate breakfast. He took a Pokeball off his belt, and threw it at the ground, and a green, gecko like creature came out. "Treecko!" It exclaimed, as it climbed up to his shoulder. "Morning Treble! You know what today is?" Adam asked, feeding Treble some leftovers from last night's dinner. "Treecko?" It asked. "Today's the day we get to set out on a journey! Adam yelled. "Treecko!" "You excited as I am? Then let's go!" Yelled Adam, running out the door. His house was only about a minute away from the lab, and as he walked in, he saw another trainer with a Shuppet by her side.
"You..." Alice whispered, walking over to Adam. Her Shuppet followed, cackling as it did. "You are... One of the others? Am I correct?" she asked. "Before the others arrive, I want a battle..."
"Uh... by "others" do you mean trainers?" Adam asked. As soon as he heard the word, "Battle" his interest was piqued. "Ok then, it's on!" Yelled Adam, as he backed away and pointed at his Treecko. "Treble, I choose you!"
Alice gave a short cackle. "Shuppet, it is time." she mumbled. "I will allow your Treeko to move first."
"Ok then, Treble, use Bullet Seed!" "Treecko!" It yelled, as it spit out several seeds at Shuppet, with near-perfect accuracy.
Alice's Shuppet hissed. As it was knocked back from the Bullet Seeds, it vanished into nothing. "Shuppet! Payback!" Alice cried. With a flash of purple energy, Shuppet emerged from nothing, headbutting Treble in the back.
"Treble!" Adam yelled, seeing a small bruise on his Pokemon's back. "Use Agility!" He yelled, as Treble hopped side to side, increasing its speed.
"Double Team!" Alice said, pointing at Treble. "Circle that... Thing." Shuppet cried out in glee in response. It cloned itself, and once several Shuppets appeared, they began to spin. Once they were good and mixed up, they stopped.
