Some shipping can he a bit weird. But what do you do if you ship 2 ponies and someone else in the show likes one of them?
Out of the mane six & co, I admit i'm found of Spike X Rarity, mainly because I just can't help but always root for the underdog. I don't expect anything to happen during the shows run of course, but down the road when things are wrapping up, would be nice to see the lil guy or maybe by then not so little guy win her over. Aside from that also like Pinkie X Dash, just think the two's colors compliment one another well, and there both pretty energetic ponies. Of course such a pairing has no chance in cannon, lol. Still fun to look at pics of. Oh and Cherrimac is also cute imo, Darn you Hearts & Hooves Day for making me actually like a big-mac pairing, Mac's supposed to be a cool silent loner! lol.
I find it strange how some people can get so protective over some of their ships... but can understand it... I don't really mind any shipping between the mane 6 other than Applejack x Fluttershy and Applejack x Rarity.... I just don't see the point in those...
Does Twilight get shipped with Rarity ever? I hardly ever see it, but I think it would be interesting.
Not actually a ship considering it's canon, but I still love the relationship between Shining Armour and Princess Cadence. Best couple. As far as fanon is concerned, ships like RarityxFluttershy, DashxFluttershy, and LunaxTwilight are probably my faves.
Yeah, shippers are pretty dang crazy, lol. But so are the are the anti-shippers. The people that say things like, eww you can't put those two ponies together, they totally aren't lesbians! (Because you know fans putting two of the characters together will affect the actual show *not* lol)., or Rarity can't date spike that would make her a pedophilez (even though we don't know any of the characters actual ages and even faust has said they weren't given actual ages but were mentally teens) But yeah.... Seriously Anti-Shippers can just be....rude & gross. Back on topic, Probably in the minority on this but...I...I kind of like Caramel X AJ. You don't see it that often, but its kind of...yea know....really cute.
I've always found Flutterdash to be cute, as well as Twixie (Twilight x Trixie.) Also Lyra x Bon Bon, obviously.

Indeed, infact adding Kirin's (unicorn/dragon hybrids) to the series would be a fun twist. Probably won't happen, but hey A guy can dream. And theres plenty o crazy fan art for hybrid characters. God bless DA, lol. Personally I like this one the best

For my opionin on the Mane 6 pairings are RarityxFluttershy Twipie AppleDash but outside of that i could say i like Spike and Rarity just because its a pairing that seems like Lauren would put in the show x3 and id love to see that and i like Twiluna, and Celestcord and of course TomxRairty xDD but thats about it xD
You don't know the actually ages of any of the ponies. So even shipping the CMCs with an older pony may not be paedophilia (although it probably is).
