I'm trying to get the word out that I'm a self proclaimed up and coming plushmaker (at least for bronies.)

    That is AMAZING.

How much do you charge for one of those?

It depends on material and numbers of colors needed for them.
For polar fleece it's $45 for simple two colored ponies, $50 for three or more (depending on how many.) Plus shipping (estimated $15 for US.)
If you want minky it'll definitely be more.

Okay, that sounds pretty reasonable. I may consider asking for a Trixie one.

I will get back to you on that.

I'm closing the grand opening commission set after 5 orders, mainly because I have 2 separate orders of minky coming in and I don't want to be too busy for them when the fabric comes in.
2 slots remain, if you want minky you'll have to wait for awhile for me to start the plush.

That Fluttershy is absolutely adorable, well done, really! I think I may just have to buy a Pinkie one when I finish sorting out my cosplays.

I like your Fluttershy, it is way better than anything I could find at Walmart. I want a Fluttershy plushy above anything else. Unfortunatly I have no money to spend on things for myself. Hopefully in 2 or 3 months business will pick up for me and I can afford to get some merch. When I do I want a Fluttershy plushy made by you to be my first item.

Sounds good, I'll keep my commission status up to date in this thread and post pictures of the plushes I make here as well.
1 spot is open... after that they'll be closed until I get most (ideally all) of the ponies done.

I would love a Twilight plush. How much would a minky one be?

It'd be around $85* (minky comes in 1/2 cuts at the least, and she has 4 colors). For minky I ask for materials cost up front because I can only find four colors where I'm from and unless someone wants big a miscolored big mac that does me no good
    *plus shipping

Ok, that was a little higher than I was hoping, but I completely understand. So no minky for me.:derpe:

Minky is easily twice the cost of polar fleece, I hate that the only minky fabric in stores around me could only help if I make Rarity or BigMac.
Today I made my first rush for commission fabric. I got fabric for Octavia, Rainbow Dash, and another Fluttershy. The woman at the store kept asking why I was so particular with colors. Why doesn't she understand.

I'm pretty sure she's been there since I was a child. She just seems too familiar.

I'm still really interested in a minky plush, I've wanted one for soooo long, but I'd like to know the quality of the plushes you make. I'd just like to have more information before I make my decision.

What is it you want to know, I can tell you about any step of the process, materials and methods.
After the first set (which I'm making right now) I plan mess around with the pattern...mainly the head area. just for my own curiosity. I'll post the rough drafts of the pattern here for comments.
Also for the time being I'm closing up commissions until I get at least the three I have material for done and the new pattern worked out. You can still request for them, when commissions open I'll ask if you still are interested and we'll go from there.

Are the eyes and cutie mark embroidered/appliqued? And roughly speaking, how tall/length are they usually?

The eyes and cutie marks are appliqued, both of which I applique together prior to appliqueing onto the plush. Without any help from the mane theses stand at 20'', however when i start the new pattern I'm going to make it so it's 2feet without the mane, oddly enough after I work the kinks of the new pattern out on $1.00/yard material the first pony will be a Fluttershy because my friend's grandmother now believes I love fluttershy colors and insists on giving me random things in those colors... luckily this last time it was fabric... and fleece....
Once the pattern is complete I will give people the option to choose between the two.
