I know that you guys may be a bit busy right now, but I just wanted to ask something... A while ago, work started on a Ponyville theme, based on the original ponyville theme which was deleted. It's something that I was very excited about, until work on it suddenly ceased due to a complete revision of how the site was layed out went through... Well, as it stands, the older layout is still completely available, and is actually defaulted... It's also what is being used to make the newer character-based themes. The Ponyville themes revival was something that I was rather excited about, and something I'd absolutely love to see back. I just want to bump the idea. Is there any possibility that it could be at some point re-added/made? Or has the whole thing been just completely dropped? It'd be mega-awesome Nostalgies. Anyway, so ya. Thanks!
Don't worry DoDo, I haven't forgotten about it. Once I'm through with current tasks, and find some time from college I'll work on it. I'll have it available for beta testers just like always. I would, but in its current state it's a bit of a mess. xD
The only screenshot I have's this crappy one. It's very old, and was done for a thread which died long ago about first posts, and it's the only screenshot I still have... But at the top, it had a picture of part of Ponyville and some gradient for the banner, and... Stuff. It was the theme I used when I was new to the site... You can tell it's an old shot, 'cos it still has the rep system there. xD You have made me a very happy man! :3 Thanks, Mike!
New theme, sweet! I didn't even know this was happening. Personally though, my favourite was the old Cloudsdale theme.
Just found this thread again whilst lookin' about the forum, thought I'd give it a lil' bump. *Bump* Is anything gonna happen about this, outta curiosity?
Maybe, maybe not. Tyro can learn to make themes if he wants to. Eight still left me with some light abilities to make style changes, but I frankly don't have much of a motivation right now. Sorry
Did the (old) ponyville never get redone either? The banner for cloudsville is probably still on the server somewhere, I'm sure the colour changes wouldn't be too hard.
