Victoria sat in her 1st period class, try not to be noticed. She sketched quietly, her mind wandering. Beatrice's growl kept Avery from trying to talk to her, after the first twelve attempts. They entered the class, and Beatrice slumped, while Avery sat eagerly.
Steve walked into class with a medium sized backpack nearly filled to the brim with things he thought he could find a use for in day to day life at school. He stode over taking the seat closest to the frount he could laying his bag beside him.
-On the school roof- A young man sat on the edge, drawing a picture of a reptile-like creature. He listened to KoRn, trying to forget everything that has happened in his life thus far. Dustin got up, putting his belongings in his bag, knowing he'll be late for class once more. He climbed down the back of the school by using the old pipes, never has anyone ever caught him. Everyday from 5-7:50 he stays on the roof, watching the sun rise up. He enjoyed it, finding it fascinating with how it did so. He walked in through the school doors, making his way to class without any breakfast.
(Let's just say we all share homeroom, mmkay? It's a weird (fake) school system. Check OOC for more info. I explain it all there.) Victoria looked around as the people started to file into the rooms. A small group of people surrounded a girl with blond hair and blue eyes. Victoria edged away, and her pencil pouch split open. Face flaming with embarrassment, she got out of her chair and bent to pick up her supplies.
As Dustin was about to walk into class, he saw a girl bending over to pick her belongings up. He walked over to her quietly and helped her gather her pencils and then handed what he picked up to her. Without saying a single word, he walked away and into the class.
"Thanks." mumbled Victoria, sitting back in her seat. Beatrice frowned as Audrey was chatting with her friends. She stood up, grabbed her black messenger bag, and walked away from the group. Audrey looked up from her conversation, a slight sad look on her sweet face. "That's rare." thought Beatrice.
Allen came in quietly and choose a random seat without a word, barely even looking at anyone else. He just wanted to put his head down and try to get through until lunch, then home. He didn't really like the idea of being a teacher's pet or a classroom talker, he just wanted in and out education. ******* Alex pursed his lips as he looked at his schedule, grumbling to himself about his parents sending him back to high school to "make friends". Couldn't they have at least sent him to a private school, not a public school? He could guarentee he was many times smarter than anyone else at the school, after all, he graduated valedictorian at the age of 13. He looked in through the door and looked around the class, holding back the thought of "unruly hooligans", while also feeling out of place in his dress shirt, slacks, and loafers. Sitting down in a chair, he pursed his lips, this was going to be a long year...
Dustin walked in the class, taking his seat all the way in the back. He rested his two feet on the desk and grabbed out his sketchbook and began to draw. He could care less about this year, he passed last year with all A's. He didn't like the fact that he was in school, not that he hated it, he hated the people. For years he had gone through bullying, from having bruises to getting sent to the hospital, he became more hostile, he became more dark. Although, he didn't see his "bullies" form last year, so maybe this year win't be so bad?
The bell rang as the teacher entered the room. She had an tight smile, and small green eyes. Maybe in her early 40s, she tapped the board with long, black fingernails. "Hello class!" she said, her voice nasally. She scanned the room, and settled on Dustin. "Kid in the back, take your feet off the desk now." She smiled, a mocking smile. "Thank you." Her eyes slid from the student to Victoria. Victoria's eyes narrowed as she stared into the teacher's eyes. She didn't like this lady, she could see already. The teacher looked at Victoria, almost in a slight daze, and then blinked. "I'm sorry, class, I have a slight headache." she said, massaging her temples.
Taking his feet off the desk, he put his sketchbook away. He sat up listening to the teacher, not really caring what she was saying. Hearing the teacher hang the headache he simply said to himself quietly, "Whats new?"
Victoria sat quietly, her eyebrows furrowed. She seemed to be deep in thought. Beatrice snorted. "A headache. Right. And I have Tuberculosis. Can I go home now?" The teacher's eyes narrowed. She went to her desk and pulled out an Advil. "Alright." she said after downing the pill. "Let's get to work."
Sighing, Dustin grabbed out his book for school work and a pencil. He hated school work, but it at least pays off for when he gets to college someday. (I'm just posting for the heck of it until someone other than us posts, but I am still using my brain.)
Steve took out a folder, two pencils, and a notebook setting them down on his desk. Taking a quick gaze around the room "nice small class." he said to himself.
Alex got up after collecting his stuff and walked out the class, checking his schedule to see his next class, "Hm...World history in Room 203...Alright" he muttered to himself before setting off to find it
Asada was coming out of homeroom, and overheard Alex had World History with her. Trying to strike up conversation and make some friends like her mother told her to, (Despite Asada's timidness.) she approached Alex. "Excuse me, do you know where Room 203 is?" Will walked out of his homeroom disgruntled that he had to come back to school. "I'm going to be a football player, I don't need an education." He thought to himself. He took a look down at his schedule, and saw that PE was his next class. He grinned, and pushed his way through the crowd (Quite Rudely infact.) On his way to the gym.
Alex sighed at the attempt at small talk, but he remembered the threat to keep him in school until he made some friends so he pushed through his annoyance, "I have no idea. I'm new here, I've never even been in a public school before." He told Asada
After arriving at school, Rhys tried to find himself desperately running around to ensure that he fit in quickly. It was the first day at a new school and the family car blew a tire, which caused him to be about an hour late. He had a brief understanding of what was happening, but not enough to know what was exactly what.
"Oh, ok. Sorry to bother you then." Asada rushed off to a map of the building. Room 203 was in the hallway parallel to the cafeteria, the third room on the left. She walked briskly over to the room, and accidentally bumped into Will on the way there. "Watch it, nerd!" He said, rather infuriated before going down the ramp that leads to the gym. Asada sighed. Not even a full day and she met someone toxic. "I think I have my first victim." Will said with a devious grin, as he made a turn at the end of the ramp to the Boy's Locker Room. He took a seat in the gym and waited for everyone else to get to the gym. Hopefully he'd see some of his friends.
