    Anyone remember this. It was awesome, shunt was the best house bot. I remember when his axe went into hypodisc's weapon and just stopped it dead. That was awesome. I never understood why people like the pit so much though. I like the fire more.

    I remember hearing about this show as a kid, but I never got to see it because I never watched much TV. I just youtubed some clips from it and I am uberpissed that I did not see it. Where the heck did this show go?!

    I dunno, it should be brought back. Fighting robots are cool no matter what age you are.

    Totally look up shunt and nightmare.

    You mean the show where they build robotic vehicles and have them kill each other? I used to catch it on G4 years ago, but I never see it anymore. Loved it as a kid.

    now that brings back memories, I loved that show!

    If I remember correctly hypno-disk was one of the better robots, I quite liked it

    That could be a ton of them. A lot of bots had flippers and only Matilda and biohazard come to mind right now. I don't think that's who your looking for though.

    you remember what the bot looked like?

    It was shaped like a ramp, and half the top of the body flipped any robot that rode onto it if I remember correctly the flipping part had bright yellow arrows painted on it

    I used to watch this all the time with my grandpa, we still have all the old episodes on VHS somewhere.
    There's a very funny picture of me when I was 4 - I went to see Robot Wars live in Glasgow, and there were obviously the pit girls, or whatever they were called. Imagine a small, overly excited child standing between two women with... assets.
    Chaos 2. That is all.
    I have the teams signatures somewhere in a robot wars programme thing. And I still have my membership card for the site that no longer exists. :c

    It still airs on a channel called Dave, but there's usually so much Top Gear you dont notice it.

    One thing I must add: Robot Wars = Craig Charles = Red Dwarf = Awesome.

    Oh yes, I see. Robot Wars was 1998 to 2004 on BBC Two, Channel 5, and TNN.

    BattleBots, the one I remember, ran from 2000 to 2002.

    I had a lot of laughs from BattleBots, but it was on a smaller cage-style match arena than Robot Wars was.
