A pony in a white flowing dress enters the small little clearing, her eyes are an emerald green and she has a look of concern on her face. "I'm sorry if I startled you," says the mare she then notices Rashall lying on the ground and a dark shadow of worry creeps over her face. The worry is soon replaced by a look of understanding she then locks eyes with Marina wondering what she has to say.
"Marina. I-" Marina was cut off as she jerked and twitched. "I-if y-y-you d-don't mind I-I'll be r-right b-back." She stuttered as she began running to the edge of the inlet. As she jumped into the water, her twitching stopped instantly. Her tail grew out just after she emerged from underwater.
"Ah so that is why Rashall brought you here then," says Isha turning Rashall over on his left side, "Broken. . . oh this is bad," she says interjecting herself.
The voice was fainter from the water surface. Marina launched herself out of the water to hang onto the cliff wall. "I think I might have a spell that can ease the pain and start healing faster. It won't completely heal him, it's up to his body to do that." Marina panted, struggling to hold on.
"I don't think he will live even if you heal the wing. One of his ribs cracked upon landing and punctured his right lung he is bleeding internally, even if you managed to subdue the pain he would still die," says Isha. (note: the inlet is at sea level not up on the cliff.)
Marina closed her eyes, suddenly tired. "I think I can help that. Once, I had to save a dolphin that was internally bleeding. It drained much of my energy, and that wasn't even a lot of bleeding. I might barely survive out of it, but," Marina looked at Rashall. "But since he seems to have a lot to live for, it's worth trying." (oops. that's what happens when you type and draw and who knows what else all at the same time.)
"No lass let me help you in that seeing that your intent on going through with this," says a voice that sounds like distant thunder yet at the same time it is soothing and calm. "My lord," says Isha bowing to the wolf bedecked in night blue armor trimmed in white gold. A hammer hangs by his side centered on the chest plate is a comet with two tails, upon his head sits a halo shinning as though pushing out the darkness.
Marina tries to bow her head, but only hits her nose on the ground. She lifts her hoof to her sore nose.
"No need to bow little one I'm simply here to help out, my name is Sigmar by the way," says the wolf.
"Uh, I'm gonna guess it has something to do with Rashall and maybe the tidal pool we were looking for?" Marina says, finally done rubbing her nose.
Sigmar simply smiles, "Smart girl, yes I am here because of Rashall as is Isha. Rashall brought you to this tidal pool because it has the power to make you utterly control your transformations instead of them being random. However this tidal pool is only the first step you must then visit the pool of Gaia and that pool is found at Rashall's house in the Shadowed Forest, with the blessing of both pools it will complete this ancient right and you will have no trouble transforming," says Sigmar, "My only question is are you willing to follow this through?"
Marina takes a moment to think. Despite the transformations having their issues, they added a sense of the unknown in her usually normal life. "Well, do you mind if I think about it while I try to heal Rashall? It just doesn't seem like he's getting any better." Marina says, concerned.
"Like I said let me handle that, for healing him is harder than you might think," says Sigmar placing a gauntlet-ed on Rashall's right wing a piercing stream of golden light erupts between the wolves hands and Rashall's body. After several seconds of concentration the wolf removes his hand with the wing now fully healed, but Rashall was still unconscious. "There he is well now, it will take some time for him to wake up. Make sure to watch after him as he can be quite stubborn, ensure that he doesn't fly for at least three days. The time it will take for him to awaken should give you enough time to think about what I said," says Sigmar the wolf then slams his hammer down onto the ground and a patch of rocky ground arises from the ocean floor. There is a cut in the rock to allow Marina to get close to the rocks edge, this section is also shallower allowing her to rest more comfortably. Sigmar then takes some of the tree's and plants them at four corners of the rock their branches weave together creating a pine needle roof extending over the little cut made for Marina. He then makes walls out of soft lichen to protect against the harsh winds of the north, after all of this he sets Rashall down on a lichen bed and drapes the same seaweed blanket that Marina had given Rashall last night over his unconscious body. "Look after him till he wakes Marina and then tell him of your choice," says Sigmar before disappearing without a trace so to does Isha leaving Marina with Rashall and time to think.
Marina stares in awe at what had just happened. Eventually she stopped gawking and watched Rashall as she had been told. She absentmindedly grabbed long seaweed drifting on the water's surface and began to weave it. After a while she looked down to see another blanket in her lap. She sighed and placed a hoof on her forehead. "I really hope Rashall doesn't mind taking home 2 seaweed blankets." she mumbled to herself.
