After five hours asleep Rashall started to stir simply mumbling in his sleep wondering about where Marina was.
Marina lifted her head to hear Rashall mumbling something involving her name. She watched as he started to stir, waiting for him to wake up.
Rashall's eyes flashed open and he was sweating profusely, "Marina are you there?" Shouts Rashall fighting to get out of bed.
Marina is alarmed at the state of Rashall. "Yes, I'm here!" she calls back, attempting to calm him. "Try not to move to much, you're just above the water."
Rashall looks at her and smiles weakly, "I-I'm sorry M-Marina I di-didn't mean to alarm you. H-How am I alive, I-I felt my life slipping away," stammers Rashall looking to Marina for answers.
"Well, long story short, Sigmar the wolf and Isha came suddenly, we talked, they asked me few questions, healed you, and left me to decide whether I want to visit that tidal pool we were looking for." Marina blurts out. "And I do." Marina adds, looking back up at Rashall. Marina remembered what Sigmar had told her. "Oh! And they told me you can't fly for at least three days."
"Then you are blessed Marina to have seen the High Lord of the Pantheon and the Goddess of Healing herself. I never realized how beautiful your eyes looked until now, but yes we will get you to the tidal pool tomorrow I am still far to weak," says Rashall curling up into a ball at the edge of the small cut where Marina is. (That's the last one for me, see ya tomorrow Marina :3 Oh forgot to mention that I have work till 5pm tomorrow but I have a computer I have access to so I'll be on.)
Marina blushed at Rashall's comment. "O-oh, t-thank you..." she said, looking down. "Just sleep for now. I'll wake you when I think we'll be ready to leave." Marina begins to subconsciously hum an eerie lullaby after a few minutes.
Rashall fell intor an uneasy sleep near Marina's small shelf. He shivered dispite still having his vest on and continued to twist and turn a little in his sleep.
Marina looked at Rashall while he slept. He looked uncomfortable and uneasy. She wished she could help, but she wouldn't wake him because he needed his sleep.
Rashall had a hard time of waking up and when he opened his eyes he felt as though he had been blinded by the sun itself and thus quickly shut them again. He reached out with his right hoof and felt it splash into the ocean and then a thought occured to him. "Marina are you there?" Asks Rashall opening his eyes again searching for the mare in the hazy fog not yet burned off by the sun's rays.
"Yes, I'm here." Marina replies. She slips into the water, feeling relieved at the coolness of it against her.
"Look I'm sorry if I frightened you at all I just saw the goal so close and wanted to make sure it was the real thing. Looks like it is the real thing after all," says Rashal a faint smile playing on his face.
"Good then maybe we should..." says Rashall trying to stand before falling down again, "Well looks like I'm still weak, I think I could do with some food right about now that should help get my energy up," he adds looking around for something to eat.
"Oh. I guess we didn't plan that well before leaving. I'd give you seaweed, but it isn't that easy to digest." Marina sighs, looking around. "If there was softer grass around, that might work.."
"Well do you think you could get some grass from that grove of trees just up the beach?" Asks Rashall pointing to where the beach merged into the solid ground of the forest. "I know you can change your tail back into legs for a little while and I'm sure it wouldn't take that long," he says looking at the trees wondering what secrets they held.
"Sure. Just give me a minute." Marina says looking at her tail. Closing her eyes, her horn begins to glow. After a few moments, her tail disappears displaying her hind legs. Getting up, she calls "I'll be back soon!" as she begins walking towards the tall trees.
Rashall tried for a second time to get up and succeded in getting half way before his legs gave out again. He contented himself to lay there and wait for Marina to get back, he was sure glad she was here with him.
While in the woods, Marina hears a nearly silent thud coming from the beach. Marina sighs and shakes her head. "You'd think he'd have learned from the first try." she mumbled to herself, picking more grass using her horn.
