He hesitated, before nodding, turning his back to her. "...okay." The wings glistened with light blue magic.
She knelt down, her hands gently moving to fix his wing as she focused on the task, trying to remember what she had read.
He was tense, but he closed his eyes after a few moments as she slowly smoothed out the wrinkles in his wings.
She was gentle, her head tilted slightly her fingers carefully brushed over his wings to smooth them.
They felt warm and smooth to the touch, and soon they straightened out, and she would see them come alive, light blue Magyck flowing through them.
She grinned. "I'll be here in case anything happens," she said before pausing. "Which I don't think anything bad will happen."
"I feel like a baby bird," he muttered, flapping his wings hesitantly and kind of slowly. Nothing happened.
He squinted at her before flapping them faster. It took a moment before they were moving so quickly, she couldn't see the distinct lines of the movements. He lifted off the ground, his eyes widening.
"I don't know if I know how to come back down," he warned her. Despite his words, it seemed very natural to him, and he moved up into the air easily.
He looked down at her before flying down quickly and scooping her up in his arms before going back up.
