She tilted her head slightly. "Lay with me?"
He hesitated, looking down at her. “I don’t want to hurt you.”
"You're not gonna hurt me," she said gently, opening an arm to him.
He slowly sat down next to her, kissing her temple. “You must be sore.”
She relaxed a bit, rubbing his back. "A little. What happened after I passed out?"
“We had to take on the yeti,” he replied quietly. “That thing was huge.”
She took his hand and squeezed gently. "I'm glad you're okay.. Did Puck make it out alright?"
“Yeah. He ran and got the Fae soldiers.”
She nodded slightly, resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm glad you're okay."
He exhaled, kissing her forehead. “I was so scared. You lost a lot of blood.”
She scooted close to him. "I'm sorry."
“What?” he asked incredulously. “Why are you apologizing?”
She flushed in embarrassment. "I wish I did more."
“You literally lost your back to a Yeti. You cannot be apologizing about this.”
She rolled her eyes, a playful grin on her face. "You lost your entire eye and an arm.
"I got a scratch across my face and I twisted my arm. You passed out."
She made a gesture with her hand. "Blah blah blah."
He kissed the top of her head again, looking up at her hand.
She gave him a small smile, relaxing again. "When can I walk?"
He mimicked her hand, talking through it like a puppet. "Never."
