One of them, a tall female faerie with large raven wings and curved ram horns looked over at her. "Calliope. You slept well, I trust?"
Her gaze flickered down to her hand on his arm before she looked at Ben. "What can we aid you with, Benedict?" He frowned, tilting his head. "It is more the other way around," he said, bowing his head in respect. "Queen Everlynn asked us to check on the Fae Kingdom; we believe the human kingdom is planning an attack." She seemed perplexed, frowning. "We have maintained peace with the humans."
She hesitated, tapping her fingers together. "Well.. The human kingdom has been plotting against the Elven kingdom to gain more Magyck, which likely would have only gone to nobles.."
She looked nervous again, looking down with a pause. "Because they kidnapped me as leverage for their treaty."
She fell silent for a moment before Ben spoke up. "I initially sided with the humans. They are who I was raised with. But I have seen their ways, Esteemed Council, and I cannot stand idly by. Regardless, we're just here to see if you are in need of aid. Have you checked your Magyck supplies recently?" She frowned, tilting her head. "We do not think to."
Puck spoke up. "You should. You're getting blindsided." Ben shot him a look as the faerie spoke. "We are aware. Faith is not a bad thing, Puck." "It is if you adopt it foolishly."
She frowned, reaching over and touching Puck's shoulder before looking to the council. "All we suggest is remaining wary and preparing yourself just in case. We extend our aid to you as well."
The faerie squinted at her, tilting her head suspiciously. "We will... discuss. If we may have the room..."
"You guys need to quit your arguing," she muttered, leaning down and resting her hands on her knees tiredly. "I'm gonna go to my room."
