After a while, he would catch her eye. He was dipping down, almost upside down as he pulled a book of the shelf. His wings were glowing with contentment, and he pulled them into his arms, looking around excitedly.
She watched him affectionately, setting down her book to adore him. Her head tilted slight and she gave a small smile as she observed.
Her shoulders relaxed as she watched hin with a small smile, eventually turning back to her own book.
"So many good books. My goodness, Calliope, the library here is enormous. Remember how sad the human library was? This is... It's amazing."
"It's... a little nerve-wracking, honestly. The Capitol is in a bubble, essentially, to shield from the snow. It feels like being out in the clouds, but... you know. Not relaxing."
"I can show you before we leave. It's... it's weird," he said thoughtfully, resting his head on his hand. "I don't know how I feel about this place."
