"...!" At that time! He was speechless What all of these... What the heck is these things! He was amazed!! I never seen anything like these before... Umm... What is this things do? What are all of these things...
(I..uhh...I don't think that counts) "And you're suggesting that, to find the royals, we have to break into some old historic artifacts?" Heartburn's ears flopped down. She felt really idiotic at that point. "Okay, I'll go with you, it seems promising enough." and I'll be keeping you trying anything funny while you're at it...
"Actually, I know where the royals are, the Freedom Rock Bunker, quite a ways from here. But in order to wake them, we need the Royal Artifacts. Tremalion's helm; Luna's and Celestia's crown, and Heculius' Hoofband." OPIAT said, floating down the hall, acting as the only form of illumination in the buried, dusty hall.
Gaze looked around pretty surprised he thought for sure the royals would have died by now from the A.I's then he had thought of something "Hey OPIAT if we have to find these artifacts will they be protected?" Gaze said. He looked at the dusty hall had a felling of creepiness and he started to inch closer to the group wondering if anything in this room is still alive.
Alexandrite followed behind the ponies, quite a ways back, her illuminated eyes lighting the way before her. She was a bit wary of what should happen if the systems do not recognize OPIAT. She noticed something odd sprawled across a wall in the distance, it seemed like a giant lumbering machine. Alexandrite was in no way eager to see THIS come to life...
"Alright everypony, I am going to have to leave you here. If you hear anything moving and don't hear me, run and hide as fast as you possibly can, got it?" OPIAT told the group, before disappearing through a wall.
Gaze looked around with now only Alexandrite's eye beams lighting the room he was now invading personal space of the A.I "Hey! OPIAT can you hurry i'm getting really scared can you hurry up," Gaze said.
Alexandrite looked at Gaze. "We will be fine. OPIAT knows what he's doing." Her hooves clicked against the ground as she began hearing a metallic groan come from the direction of the looming machine. "On second thought, everypony, hide."
The machine suddenly came fully to life and something unexpected happened, the entire hall was suddenly filled with lights and the voice of OPIAT came on, strangely sounding slightly British, "AH! There are the lights! Sorry for frecking you out. Why the bloody hell I choose to register this particular voice to the database I will never figure out." The hum of the generator filled the hall, but slowly died down as the entire place began to clean itself up, "Don't worry 'bout that, place is just giving itself a tune-up. Now where is that bloody unlocking part."
Alexandrite hummed in relief. "You nearly made my processors shut down, OPIAT! I thought something was going to attack us!" Alexandrite calmed herself. and her eyes dimmed down to suit the now lighted hall.
"Yes yes." OPIAT said, voice returning to normal, "And there we go!" The entire wall slid open to reveal a long hallway with OPIAT floating next to a computer bank that was going into the wall, "Just down this hallway is where the artifacts and some other...items of interest lay. And since you won't need me for walking down this hallway, I'm just going to go on ahead." OPIAT then disappeared in a flash of light.
Alexandrite shook her metallic head and walked down the hall, walking slow enough for the living ponies to keep pace.
OPIAT appeared in the all unfamiliar hall to him. At one end was the old entrance before it was buried, on the other end, a locked blue door sat inbetween a staircase that lead to the Hall of Memories, a recounting of all of Equestrian history. He was the only thing alive and awake that knew what exactly laid inside, the most powerful magical artifacts the world has even been blessed/cursed to contain; the two sets of Elements.
"So OPIAT, what now? Can you remember anythings?" Zypher worriedly asked "We should keep moving, shall we? Let's pick up the 'things' move on right away..." Now he was deeply felt uncomfortable. OPIAT make a very loud noise... there could possibly some A.I. might heard us down here... *faps* At that moment... He heard a footstep... I can feel it... It's behind me... just behind me... *faps* Again!? It chills down my spine... cold... eerie... and creepy... ****!! It's right me behind me!!! Suddenly, he quickly hold his hunting knife tightly and Shouted "Who is that!? Show yourself!" He quickly turned around... there is nothing... as always... there is nothing there in the first place... Of course there is nothings behind me but I can feel it... Yes.. It just right behind me until I turn back... Then it just disappear but it still there... He grasped It seem that nobody had any idea what just happen in this room or pretend that there is nothings in the first place. Was it just only me? "Zypher... Zypher!!" Zypher sweat all over his body and shaken in panic "Zypher!! Are you alright?" and someone wake him up... "..." I had no idea who this is "I'm fine.. I'm fine... Let's get moving.. so OPIAT... what do we do now..." It seem that nobody heard anythings or pretend that there is nothings in the first place. He slowly put his hunting knife away in his pocket and tried to clam himself down. Still.. There is only one question still remained... It's that some random pony... or it is actually'Her'
OPIAT floated towards the blue door as the rest entered the Hall, a blue tentacle of energy floated out from OPIAT's mass and went to the lock. The door glew brightly before fading away an the door swung open. Inside was a long corridor, with the treasures of Equestria along each side. "Okay, here's some rules." OPIAT said as they prepared to enter the room, "Do not touch ANYTHING. I will do the handling of objects. Rule 2: stay very close to me and you will be fine. Everypony got that?"
Sayim grunted abit and nodded his head reluctantly. If this robot tries anything, i'll blow it's circuits out, energy explosion or not. He followed after OPIAT with a distrusting face, ready to fire a 44. bullet into it if it would try anything funny. Then he stopped and looked at the glass case beside him. It was a very familiar metal axe with a rubber handle along with a hatchet, it's blade scratched and worn. "If that bloody robot hadn't taken my Knock Knock, i would still have it in my grasp! He even took my bloody hatchet!" Karls voice ringed in his head as he looked at the two objects infront of him, head tilted on the left side.
OPIAT knew that the ponies following him were probably plotting at this very moment to try and kill him, but it takes more than a simple gun or cudgel to hurt a being of pure energy, but he didn't let that catch on. He eventually floated up to three boxes, two were heavily decorated, while one was relatively plain. OPIAT picked up one of the boxes, which dissolved inside of him for safe keeping then he decided to tell the others about what was in the two other boxes, "Before your very eyes are the Elements of Harmony in the decorated box, and the Elements of the Ancients in the plain one. These boxes cannot be opened until the next Elements have come together, and with both, that is likely to be a long time"
"Just how long? Our party is getting restless underground, I'm sure.." And itching to kill a few AI's... Alexandrite added mentally. Alexandrite scraped her metal hooves against the ground while she thought. She suddenly gasped. "OPIAT, the lower access systems in the city, can we reach them from here?" Alexandrite had a plan, a temporary one, but a plan nonetheless.
"Yes, yes we can." OPIAT said, picking up the other two boxes and dissolving them inside himself, "Why do you ask? You got a plan?"
