Lio got up from the table and grab the box, it was at the top of the stack because it was one of Usagi's favorite games. He then went back to the table and opened up the box, placing the board on the table. "What color do you want to be? We have Green, Yellow, Blue, and Red." [Equestria has Trouble? I could get Chess or Checkers, but I'm surprised by Trouble.]
Discord considered for a moment, "Hmm, blue I think. I've always liked blue." (Well, it's a pretty simple game, I wouldn't be surprised if they had some version of it. Probably wouldn't have the plastic dome thingy though; It'd be more like Ludo.)
Lio sets the board up and pops the bubble he gets a three. "This is to see who goes first. You need get a higher number." [Are we going to play out Lio and Discords game of Trouble or do we want to skip to the morning?]
Discord bopped the bubble with a yellow hoof and got a seven. Somehow. "Seven! Seven is more than three." Discord said, nodding sagely. [Yeah, we can skip to the morning if you want; as long as there is evidence of what would clearly be the most intense and close fought game of trouble ever played.]
"Fix the die, don't abuse your powers, or I'm not playing." He was going to have to make a new board made of the house glass. The problem was how was how to make it see through. While the windows of the house could open and close, they were not see through.
"I'm sorry; sometimes I can't help it, comes with the territory, being a spirit of disharmony and all." Discord complained, not untruthfully. "I promise I'm not cheating to win though; that would be no fun at all." He hadn't changed the die on purpose, as such, it was more a by-product of his chaotic magic; dice and other objects of chance didn't act normally around him. He bopped the dome again, and this time came up with negative one. He shrugged apologetically.
"You know what give me a minute, I think I might have a set of DnD dice made from the glass, we can used those." He should of thought of the dice rather than the board itself...going through the self of games he found the cube with the seven dice. He then took out the D6. He rolled it and got a one. "We'll use this dice. It should reflect even your unconscious magic." "Oh is it too late for me to join?" Kimitsu returned after sending Megatron to the past. Who knew how long the bot turned human turned pony would be in the past but her return was set for later in the day on there end. "The more player more fun. But I leave it up to Discord."
"That's fine by me," Discord said, nodding at Kimitsu, "as long as you're not too competitive, that is; I played a similar game with Rainbow Dash once." He rolled his eyes, "Never again."
"You have nothing to worry about Kimi is more of a Twilight with a dash of Kasumi. Until a year or so ago she was a mix of Twilight and Fluttershy, but Usagi and some friends finally got her to stop whispering so much." "Father I doubt Discord knows who Kasumi is." Kimitsu rolled the die and got a five. "Good point, well if the translator you installed on the TV works I can bring out the Ranma 1/2 DVD's for him to watch. You need to beat a five Discord."
"Dvds?" Discord inquired, raising an eyebrow. He picked up the die with his mouth and rolled it across the table as best he could; it came up with a one.
"They're sort of Magic Disk, when placed in a device they play moving pictures. Kimi goes first." [Sorry I wanted to get the game started before the skip. We can start the morning now if everyone is ready. Hey has everyone been reading the ooc chat topic?]
[I just mean the topic in general. Sorry lack of comments got me paranoid that it was being ignored. Not that you have to comment. ^^; Just, I'd like input in case certain ideas are off the wall, or if you have an idea for something the town could use. This is my first time trying to do something like this.]
(Sooo.... time skip!) --- the next morning --- Darky and Luna were the ones that got up first. Luna brought down the moon and after a moment Tia brought up the sun. They both got ready, cleaned the room and went to he living room to wait for everyone else.
In the gaming area of the living room Lio watched Discord get his final piece home. "How did it take us so long to finish one game?" "You and discord decided to double team me after I got three of my pieces home and you kept each other in check while stopping me from winning. Congratulations Discord." Now she need to sleep.... she had assumed the game would end quickly and she could go to bed when her father and Discord found something else to do.
"Ah it's not the winning, it's the tak- Oh, who am I kidding? If the winning didn't matter, why would they keep score?" The game had really helped Discord to improve his dexterity in this new form, so he considered it time well spent. "Really though, good game! Good game!" He said, nodding and grinning at Lio and Kimitsu.
Luna looked at them, yawning. "You played during the night?" She asked them. "Looks like it." Darky said before yawning also. They looked a bit tired, but because they were used to sleep during day, not during night.
Frozen emerged from his room a few minutes after the royal couple entered the living room. He used his magic to wrap his cloak around himself, and a white scarf. "Good morning," he said, with a yawn, as he entered the living room.
"What do you mean?" Discord asked, "Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?"
