(Because I'm impatient, so far, only Snow and Blade Runner can post here. Remember, if I have to remind you twice about grammar, you are out of the RP.) Ellie woke up, her temple against the cold floor, the faint buzzing surrounding her. With a start, she sat up in fear. "Oh my god.. What happened?" she said to herself. "Hello?" she called out, louder.
Allen groaned as he slowly gained consciousness, he brought his head up as he realized his head was hanging...just to have to slam into the wall he was propped up against, "GAH!" He suddenly cried out, his hands shooting back and holding the back of his head as he curled up, rocking back and forth slightly, "Ah...frickin' frick!" He mumbled to himself as he slowly recovered, looking around the room, "H-hello? Anyone here?"
Ellie's head shot up as she heard a noise. "Hello?" she called out, getting to her feet. She wrapped her cloak closer around her for warmth and reassurance, and put her hand on the doorway as she looked into the gloomy hallway beyond. "Anyone here?"
Allen looked up to see a shape in the doorway that seemed to be a human-ish shape, and a voice eminating from it, "Hello? I'm behind you!" He called, slowly getting to his feet, stretching out then getting ready in case that shape was not friendly, "W.who are you?" He asked
Jack woke up to the sound of two teenagers yelling nearby. They sounded frightened. Jumping to his feet, he reached for his hip. He was slightly surprised to find nothing there, but he wasn't sure why. For that matter, there were quite a few things that he wasn't sure about. Where was he? How had he gotten here? Why could he not remember anything about who he was, save for his name and age? Stepping out of the room and into the hall, he spotted a girl that looked to be in her teens peeking out of another room. He spoke quietly, not wanting to frighten her. "You there. Girl. Do you know what this place is?"
Ellie's head whipped around from the two voices. She addressed the first one, the one that sounded younger, first. "My name is Ellie..." she said uncertainly. "I have no idea where we are... Do either of you?"
Allen nodded, slowly approaching the two, "Okay...And I have no idea where we are...And my name's Allen...Nice to meet you Ellie, I guess." He gave the other voice a strange look at how...Rude it sounded as he reached Ellie, looking down the dark hallway.
"Brilliant. You two are useless." Jack turned to walk away, sighed, and turned back. They were just kids. He couldn't just leave them to fend for themselves, especially in a place like this. "My name is Jack. Allen, Ellie, it is nice to meet you."
Ellie looked at the man in front of her, confusion flashing in her eyes. "Nice to meet you too." she said, slightly cross. "I apologize that I am no use, but I just woke up. I..." she hesitated, biting her lip, trying to think. "I don't think... I don't know who I am, other than my name and age." she said, looking up. "I don't...." she repeated softly.
Ellie's apparent confusion made Allen try to remember about himself as well, "E-huh, I can't seem remember either..." He muttered, "That's...weird..." He began muttering what he remembered about himself, "Allen...Williferd...16..."he muttered, "16..." He shook his head, "Nope.,.nothing besides that!"
Jack looked around thoughtfully. "We're all in the same boat, then. Interesting..." He looked up and down the hall, and peered into Ellie and Allen's room. "We are being watched. I've counted a dozen cameras already, and I'd bet a week's pay that there are more. Somebody did this to us, and I aim to find out who."
"I would not be surprised. If we are, as I suspect, part of an experiment, there will certainly be others." Jack examined one of the cameras closely, and laughed. "Full color, high definition, CCTV cameras with built-in mic. This setup is not cheap. We are, in all likelihood, dealing with professionals."
She glared at the cameras. Finally, she sighed, and straightened. "Well, there are others... I say let's go find them. There's nothing for us here." And with that, she turned and ran down the hall with surprising speed.
"The impatience of youth..." Jack muttered under his breath. He turned to Allen, and arched an eyebrow questioningly. "Are you coming? We can't leave her out there alone." Without waiting for an answer, Jack turned and walked away in the direction that Ellie had gone.
Jeoff had a rather tough time getting used to new places. Moving, working, meeting new people, it just didn't suit his personal needs. The LAST thing he would have wanted would be to end up locked in a room with a bunch of strangers. Imagine that. Jeoff knocked on his own door after listening to friendly sounding voices talk. At their own mentions of missing memory, Jeoff realized he, too, had no idea who was what and when was where. He lightly rapped on the door with a huge fist, pressing up against it and announcing his presence. "I lack my own memory as well," he muttered. "Can't expect it's coincidence we're all missing something, eh?" He opened the door to a hallway with two figures sprinting down it and one standing alone. Sighing, he looked around his surroundings. "Awful..." He muttered again as he looked to the forms. "Where are you two going, eh?" He called after them. "Is it such a good idea to be charging into a situation you know nothing about?"
Ellie slowed down slightly. "Hey, another one!" she said cheerily. Suddenly, she stopped, and put her hand to her face. "I'm... cheerful..." she breathed, frowning. "Why the hell am I cheerful?"
Jeoff frowned and slowly walked toward Ellie. "Because cheerfulness is a pleasant emotion. I wouldn't be so quick to question happiness." When he got to the two down the hall, he leaned on the wall and sighed again. "Now, it looks like there's another down there on his way out. I have a suggestion that we check all the rooms for people before ditching off into some blank corridor of impending doom. Sound good, eh?"
