To make your mark on the world, no matter how small, but those who you effect, will remember you. To make others lives enjoyable and pleasant to have to me is the meaning of life.
I could write a long explanation but for me, The meaning of life if to make God's plan for me happen and to live a life that he will be pleased with.
As someone with religious beliefs, I would say to be a good person. A pretty simple answer. If I had no religious beliefs, I would think that there's no real meaning to life. But, although there may be no meaning, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't have a goal in life. And my goal would be to be a good person and to be happy. Even if I wouldn't be able to remember anything, I'd still have helped humanity.
There is no meaning. There doesn't have to be a generic meaning. Life is what you make of it, so live it to the fullest, because you never know what opportunities you could miss if you're not careful. Sweet Celestia that sounds cheesy.
Agreed with Poetic, I don't think there is a meaning, everyone gives their own meaning to their own life.
Myself I cannot be sure if there is a meaning of life, I doubt there is any preset answer, each person creates their own meaning. My god is not concious and therefore is unable to have a set plan for us. My meaning of life is reflected through ponies, love, tolerance, friendship.
Twilight's plot...definitely. Ahem, well, the meaning of life is a very important topic to me. The meaning of life varies from person to person. Each and every one of us has a variation of its definition, because life is what you make it. The meaning of life, to me, is to try and live as happy as you can. Do whatever makes you happy and don't conform to how others want you to be. Strive for your dreams and goals and be your own individual. Leave an impact, even if small on the world and to those around you. I also consider death to be an important aspect to life's purpose as well. In conjunction of my statement of leaving an impact, when it comes time that your life is coming to an end, you should be able to look back and reflect on what you have done. Will you be leaving the world with the satisfaction that you have accomplished what you wished to? Have you bettered friends and family and those around you? Things like that. I'm going to get a little bit religious so bear with me, and don't read if your gonna get pissed off. I don't necessarily believe in karma and destiny, but as a Christian I do believe in God and Heaven (I'm leaving out Hell for reasons unnecessary). I feel that if you have lived life happily, did all the things you wanted to do, met your goals, and made accomplishments, your afterlife will be much happier and pleasant as a result. (Boy, way to think positive huh?) Life is what you make it. The unknowns of what comes after is what makes me want to live mine happily and have the ability to look back when I'm old and be content with what I see.
Life doesn't have a meaning. We're just evolved life forms that crawled out of the primordial pool a very long time ago, is all. If you are to put a meaning on life, it's whatever you decide it to be for yourself. This is what I think. Sent from my EVO 4G using Tapatalk 2
