Red X stood on a low branch, leaning against the tree trunk as she tossed an apple up and down hidden in the shadows. The night was young and she was suppose to be meeting someone to discuss some certain plans for the up coming Galloping Gala. She finally took a bite of her apple and tossed it a side before jumping down from the tree and onto the dirt path beneath.
"Bout time you showed up.. You should know never to keep a mare waiting long." she said in a flat tone, not bothering to look up from the scroll in her hooves.
"Ehh good point." she tossed him a look then went back to her map, "So.. how do i know your worthy of this mission Nightmare Night has granted us?"
Sanctum pulled out a Manila folder filled with files of ponies from his organization, some dead, missing & unknown, others still alive,"this good enough?"
Red flipped through the papers and nodded with a please look, "I guess your ok.. welcome to the dark side.. and no i do not mean that in the corny pun everyone cracks up about."
"Nah but here's my plans.. the gala is in 3 night, and from the news on the street, the gem is rather.. overly protected which means.. fun for us!"
"No worries" Red said as she began to make her way down a worn path into the large trees of the Everfree Forest. "you coming?"
She led the way to the hide out that was deep in. She shoved a large rock a side and a door was revealed, "After you!"
