Yeah, this is a weird topic to discuss.I have tried looking up the web, but no result. So, I end up here. If any of you guys have played MLP on your mobile device, you have probably noticed that, when you tap Twilight on the screen, she may respond with a short quote: Spoiler So, what is...this number sixteen? My theory is that this number is Twilight's exact age.Another theory is that this is the date that a big episode premired:The final episode of season 3(Feb 16, 2013) Any thoughts?
The creators of the game just take some of the sayings that they say from the show itself. I personally say Twilight is seventeen, IMO.
17 doesn't make that much difference from 16, you know. It's a lot a seasons since the game released...
What makes people think that the Mane Six are kids? Is it the fact that they're all employed? The fact that several of them run successful businesses? The fact that Rainbow Dash is part of the Equestrian military, maybe?
That's an entirely different universe, with different rules. Princess Celestia is over a thousand years old. Principal Celestia is... I'm gonna say in her late thirties. Clearly, Equestrian ages don't match EqD ages.
Well, they DO match. What if principal Tia was 1000 years old, then? There's magic in EqG and nothing is realistic there, then why not?Besides, Princess Celestia in FiM doesn't look like an old gramma either
I'm pretty sure this is in reference to one of the spells from "Boast Busters." As a general principle, I would dispute that heavily, since where I come from laws about sexual consent are awfully specific when it comes to ages. Plus, I recall being both 16 and 17 in high school, and at that age when a person's personality and life is changing so rapidly that sometimes it's hard to keep up, one year can have quite the impact. There is a massive difference between the ages of 17 and 16. Okay, there seem to be a couple of different issues here. Let's break it down, sentence by sentence: 1. I can see why you would want to believe that, but as of yet there doesn't seem to be any evidence to support that theory. 2. Kind of a pointless what-if, really, since real, working magic doesn't really seem to be common knowledge in the EQD universe and therefore immortality would be a little suspicious. 3. He wasn't talking about realism, he was talking about sense, which is different. In Equestria (and in the EQD universe as well) it seems obvious that magic operates on certain rules, even if those rules aren't always known to the characters. 4. I would imagine that, following from Ridley's argument, her magical immortality would prevent her from looking old, yes.
