    It depends on what your limitations for these powers would be.

    If there are no limitations, I'd choose Omniscience.
    If there are, I choose the knowledge of all languages.

    If I had a superpower.... I WOULD HAVE COMMAND OVER DARKNESS!! THE SHADOWS WOULD BE AT MY BECK & CALL, I WOULD COVER THE WORLD IN ETERNAL DARKNESS MUHAHAHAA!!! *shot*

    I mean I would do shadowy things to help people and what not, scare bad guys and some such. And I'd be really good at making shadow-puppets during camp outs.

    If I had a super power, it'd be similar to Sonic the Hedgehog. The ability to run fast, the stamina to maintain it over VAST distances, the leg power to jump about a hundred times your height just to name a few.

    Dang, beat me to it. Being able to control time (including stopping) essentially gives you teleportation, super speed, invisibility, Knowledge (as Zephyr said) and probably a few other things I'm not thinking of.

    Jumping through screens. See somewhere you'd like ta be on TV? Jump straight in- Woo hoo! Can go on easy holidays, jump into an awesome scene in a film, jump into a game! I'd be able to jump into Metroid, give Samus a gigantic glomp! Say you wanna meet someone on the other side of the world, start a conversation over the internet and jump through to where they are, say a casual high. But best of all, I'll be able to go to Equestria!

    I would probably choose something along the lines of Shadow Manipulation. The ability to create and teleport between areas of darkness, create illusions...
    There is a host of things I could do with the ability to play with shadow. muwahahahahaha......

    A significant drawback to that would be it would require an immense amount of study so as to shapeshift correctly, otherwise risking death.

    Unless you're thinking a more Animorphs sort of thing where you just happen to know it through DNA shenanigans. The only drawback to this is you'd be limited to reality while with the other one you'd be open to millions of possibilities.
