Suddenly, explosions began going off everywhere, "Get down!" Sarge yelled out as he hit the ground, bringing Cora down with him, and covering his head with his hooves.
The explosions had barely ended when the gang attacked the town, guns at the ready. "Kill them all! Burn the place to the ground!" Red yelled over the gunfire as his gang shot excitedly into the air, "Bring Sargent to me, so I may kill him personally!"
"Hellfire!" Sarge exclaimed as he spread his wings and flew off as fast as possible, carrying Cora along with him.
Red Glory saw a pegasus take to the sky, carrying another pony, and attempted to shot him down. But from the looks of how he kept flying, he probably missed, grimacing, he turned to the task of destroying Theives Landing.
"WHAT THE 'ELL WAS THAT?!" Cora's hat was gone due to the speedy takeoff, and her coat was almost flying off of her body.
"The arrogant bastard Red Glory must've decided to shoot up the town!" He said, nearing the ground and releasing Cora, "My apologies for the speedy take off and all."
"It's fine" She stands shakily, a bit winded. "I just hate flying." She doesn't notice that her coat has fallen, exposing her blank flank.
He notices her blank flank as her coat falls off, but decides not to point in out, "uh, I think you dropped your coat."
She doesn't say anything, and covers herself with her coat again. She stands awkwardly, unsure of what to say about her lack of a cutie mark, "Let's go on..."
"Alrighty," Sarge said, "We need to head to Snake Alley so I can collect my bounty money. Let's go." And with that, he headed towards Snake Alley.
"You just haven't figured out your place yet is all, it's nothing big." Sarge said, "My father once had a friend who was in the same situation as you, but she pulled through and figured out what she was meant to do in this world."
"Everypony is destine to figure out who they are," Sarge said in a comforting voice, "Trust me, one day you will."
She smiles slightly. "Thanks Sarge." After they had walked a bit farther she asked, "Where are we headed again?"
"Snake Alley to get my reward, and then Pen peak to rest for the night." He said, observing his surroundings
"We're here, actually." He replied as they entered a canyon with houses on platforms built on the sides of the canyon, "Welcome to Snake Alley, the happiest place in the canyon it's built in, and that's not saying much."
