She laughed a little, noticing the flush but not commenting on it. "Yeah, you were out before I got out of the shower," she teased. "I'm a little exhausting, I suppose."
Her laughter deepened and she closed her eyes for a moment, her lashes dark against her rosy cheeks. "Forgive me for not wanting you to die."
"I don't want you to die," he shot back stubbornly, though it was clear he wasn't angry. "I would have been fine."
Her eyes opened and she gave him a small smile. "Only because I kept the fire going," she replied smugly.
He groaned, standing up and going over to his bag. "I'm going to get changed. We should head out to look soon."
Her eyes widened and she sat up suddenly, the blanket hanging off her. "Zerras! I had a vision last night!"
"It was..." She blinked, trying to remember. "The key. It's in a blacksmith's shop in the upper part of town. Under the bed."
He seemed unsure as to how to go about this, tapping his chin. "Do you remember what the blacksmith's looks like?"
She nodded enthusiastically, pulling her hair back in a small ponytail. "I do. I think I did, anyway."
"Great," he said, pulling out clothes and heading to the bathroom. "We should try to leave as soon as we can."
She nodded again, getting out of bed. The shirt was ridiculously too big for her and she grabbed her bag too. "I'll change out here."
She changed into her clothes too. She wore a dusty white blouse and baggy brown trousers. She wore this when she was generally going into town, but she didn't have very many clothes left. She frowned for a moment before going over to the bathroom and knocking on the door. "Z?"
She pursed her lips. "We have the room for a couple more hours," she began. "I think we should leave our stuff here and wash our clothes in the meantime. We can bring the valuables, obviously." She paused before giving him a smile. "You look nice."
He flushed a little again, frowning still. "Yeah, we should go with your plan. Our clothes need a wash."
She tilted her head curiously, going to gather up their clothes. "You keep blushing. Are you too warm?" She looked over at him. "Your skin is pretty warm. It's nice to sleep next to, but maybe you're overheating?"
