“I didn’t have a vision,” she said, sounding panicked as she looked down at him. “I’m so sorry, Z. I didn’t have a vision.”
“It definitely is,” she said, looking down at him. “I’ll go walk around the city. Try to trigger something.”
She blinked in surprise. “What? No, Z, it’s not your fault that I didn’t have one. You should sleep more.”
She laughed a little, beaming at him in the early morning light, her body soft and warm next to his. “No,” she murmured, rubbing her fingers through his hair. “Sleep.”
