He rolled his eyes as they continued. It seemed that the deeper they went the taller the trees grew, the stranger the plants became, and the less light there was.
She smiled up at him for a moment, but her worried expression quickly returned and she looked back at the forest ground. "...Zerras...? Do you think you could teach me more magic?"
She was avoiding eye contact, messing with her fingernails hesitantly. "Well... yeah. I just thought... you know. In the meantime."
"I don't know," she said apologetically, finally looking up at him. Her expression was mostly obscured by her hood. "Something helpful, hopefully."
