[size=+1]You're Invited[/size] An RP about new recruits to become a General to The Black Fox Empire "I want an army that doesn't respond to pain...An army that is fearless, vile, and cruel." Lord Kyrios, often known as The Black Fox to both those that admire him and loathe his heavy grip on over 500 worlds, is looking for the exceptional of the exceptional to join his already vast ranks at the highest position possible within Kyrios' army of purple armour: A General. These are strange, powerful and often dangerous individuals that are practically hired dictators. The best of the best and often the rarest of the rare. A kind of monster expected to act as a queen commanding pawns. They are loyal to their men and Kyrios, or he deals with the errant part in his machine personally. So, who are you in this tale? A regular townsfolk lured by the promise of money, power and that cushy seat? Or perhaps a fighter from a world Kyrios controls and has decided to join ranks when you cannot beat them? A mage that was promised knowledge beyond that of a commoner, or even an elder from hundreds of civilisations kept in library after library? Twisted monster or curious oddity too valuable not to be added to the ranks? A heartless creature that was hired by the Lord to push these people that was unfortunate enough to fall for the trickery? A demon to watch over things? He awaits your reply in the Invitation to the estate where he intends to meet with you. From there, it's not known what happens. ~|~ So, this is an RP I've done a few times before with a some pretty interesting results from it. I've had some bizarre creatures turn up for the job. Now, I thought I'd bring it here too. All you need is a villain. A ruthless manic or a cold blooded killer or maybe just a creature so unusual or rare that Kyrios had to add you to his collection of maniacs. Other Generals will appear every so often depending on what the group asks for. I'll also give you a rather unusual but appropriately nasty test for your character too. Name: Blade Runner (a.k.a. Desmond Irich) Age: 20 Gender: Male Species: Human (I chose because you said you'll allow anything). Appearance: White hair, Neon green eyes, has a six pack, purty buff, has a scar running down the back, has a human colony tattoo on his right shoulder. Personality: Quiet, keeps to himself, trustworthy, listens to his superiors, loves orchestral music, can be slow to respond sometimes, has a strait expression on his face 24/7, 7'6 ft tall, and is serious all of the time. Abilities: Heavy weapons handling, melee weapons mastery Equipment: 1. Assault Rifle 2. Battle Axe 3. two magnums Background: When Desmond was born, his parents had left on the streets to rot, luckily though, a scout troop had picked him up and raised him. At age 15, he had joined the military and had undergo three months of training before being dragged into a massive war. He survived with a massive plasma wound on his back, for which affected the spine as well. At the age of 17, he was the fastest to promote, normally it would have taken longer, but Desmond's kill count was incredible as well as the amount of missions he had completed. He was a lone wolf. At age 19, Desmond was sent with a small army, they all died except for him. Desmond had no way of contacting his base so he had to find a way through the enemy lines. After almost four months of fighting non stop, Desmond found his way back to the city he was born in, only to find nothing but rubble. He continued on until he found his base. After telling his superiors all he had done, Desmond was promoted to General rank. (This is the best I can do) Other: Desmond now awaits orders from his Commanding officer.
Is this meant to be the Empire's Army or a separate one? Because he'd be a General Recruit. He'd have to prove himself first before being a General. But, Minor Detail. Otherwise really good. A warrior to the core. That would be the sort Kyrios would like to see rising to the top, very good. He's going to start checking for more than just brute strength at some point, which should be fun... I like the fact that I put down 'anything is allowed' for species and the first character we get is human. The other Generals are going to stick out a bit here...Still, a human is kinda exotic for a Pony forum, I suppose...
He'll have what it takes, and quick question: When I read the description of the RP I got confused when you said "All you need is villain," what do you mean by that?
Name: Needle Age: Unknown Gender: Female Species: Cacturne Appearance: Personality: Mostly silent, only speaks when necessary, very wise but tends to work on first thoughts and be too stubborn to change them. Abilities: Pin-missile (shoots a rapid barrage of spikes) Faint Attack (turns invisible, then attacks the enemy with a brutal physical strike) Leech Seed (throws seeds at a target, and if they successfully latch on, they drain life force from the enemy and give it to the nearest ally of Needle or Needle herself) Double Team (makes multiple illusion copies of Needle, the copies will only go away on command or physical contact with an enemy) Equipment: A deck of magical cards, which require a mana-style energy source which takes time to charge up. Background: Was discovered on a planet completely overgrown with plants. She had no memory of her past and only spoke the name of her species. Her discoverers were magically inclined explorers hunting for a new planet for Kyrios, who taught her about society and their leader. Once she decided she had learned everything she needed to, she killed the magi, stole their belongings and vehicle, and sought out their leader's army, believing she could benefit from Kyrios' power. Other: Has no memory of where she came from and why she can't speak anything besides her name. She can, however, translate what she says telepathically, and has gotten to the point of doing it instinctively. She fights with a basic tactic of stalling enemies with her four abilities long enough to use her cards as proper weapons, and then finishing them off with powerful cards. If you're against the "pokemon lost in another world" thing, it's an easy switch to just change it to a cactus witch, which looks exactly the same and has the exact same abilities
I doubt anyone's really gonna be against the whole "Pokemon" thing, I play Pokemon and watch the original show, plus my 13 year old brother is a nut about it. I'm not against it.
Whenever this RP has been run, I've had a 'rope giant', I've had a skilled warrior owl and I've now got a Pokemon. I have no trouble with Needle although I do wonder why you chose Cacturne. Seems like a curious choice but, OKey dokey. I welcome thee.
The story for "why cacturne" is fun. I googled "Pokemon special attackers" the first link was "top 300 best special attackers" and I scrolled through the list. Cacturne was the highest on the list I liked for the "Mage of few words" and the move set really works with the charging mana idea for the sake of specializing in stalling enemies. it was just several coincidences that happened to be just how I like it. Plus cacturne is a kind of overlooked Pokemon that is actually pretty cool. (Of course with over 600 of them, there are lots of those cases)
Name: Stanford Vice Age: 46 Gender: Male Species: Foxphid (Essentially an anthropomorphic fox) Appearance: An aged, G-man looking fox with yellow and white fur, blue eyes, and is sharply dressed in black suede shoes, dark grey slacks, A white button shirt under a blue tie and dark grey vest with a shoulder holster for his .45 and a matching fedora to top it off. Stands about 3/4 the height of a normal human usually has spectacles and corncob pipe with him. Personality: Shows a warm, nonchalant and calm, if not somewhat wise cracking exterior but is cold, calculating, and greedy on the inside. Abilities: Mind control, telepathy. Equipment: M1 carbine, Colt .45. Background: Not much is known about him till his 30's, when he was mysteriously elected mayor of a small town on metropolitan planet known as Boria, which seems culturally stuck in the America 1940's and 50's, without even being a candidate. After a 5 year reign over the town, it became a powerhouse metropolis that hailed him as a god and a cult of personality. Soon, it grew big enough to cause the Boria's world congress to exile the small nation to another planet in order to prevent a revolt and civil war. The planet they were put on was meager and barely could sustain life. Most of the population died and have scattered away from the proud city. He decided to join Kyrios in order to grasp to power and restart his nation to take over Boria. Other: Never talk to him about politics.

Light blonde hair with a pink hair band, wearing a black dress with a wilted white rose on the front. Her wrists are bound together in a thick, rusted chain.She has a third eye in her forehead and a slight purple tint to her skin. Personality: Her actions, tone of voice and general demeanour is one that's exceedingly bright and happy, often skipping rather than walking, as well as singing to herself songs she makes up as she does a task. This would fit the expected personality of her appearance, were it not for the often insultingly blunt and often horrific things she says and sings about quite brazenly. She seems perfectly aware of what she's saying and doing. Abilities: Psychokinetic ability that scales with her temper. A hidden power within that awakens at the height of her rage, sapping at the life force of others to keep fuelling her fury, at the cost of her own life force; with nothing to drain, her rage will only make her weaker and eventually pass out. Equipment: A teddy bear, its arms sewn around her left arm to prevent it falling. Background: Found imprisoned on one of Kyrios' newly conquered worlds, she was freed and subsequently went on a killing spree. Kyrios himself had to stop her, doing so not with brute strength but his natural charisma, talking her down by convincing her that he was 'more fun than pulling off limbs one by one'. Other: Her loyalty to Kyrios is questionable and likely needs to be enforced heavily.
