Finally done with Ripping, editing, and uploading the songs from equestria girls.

well in the 2-3 months i was gone, i became a DJ at Celestia Radio and got a podcast and a radioshow in there ^^

I like to read, and with that of course also fanfics, but i would like to know what YOUR recommendations are for MLP Fanfics.

i was browings ED this morning and i found that the story synopsis of Episode 10 of Season 3 has been leaked, and when i read it, my jaw dropped, and i dont really know why i was surprised that much but. i would say read it.

but this, this is ****ing insane. i thought discord would come back at the season finale but now, just right in the middle of is. but i honestly think this is going to be the luna eclipsed from this season, where the bad guy might turn good. I cant wait to see this one!

so what do you guys think of it?

So The NOT-Rainbow Dash crew decided that instead of waiting for a letter from rainbow dash that they are better off bringing one to her instead. So back at the Academy they now have to do some good 'ol Cloud busting, and for that they need this

Whatever the hell this is supposed to be :S


And up to this point most of the tests where done in team, with a leader and a ''wing-pony'', And Lightning Dust was teamed up with RD and was called the Leader because she apparently put more effort in ''pushing herself further'' , but i am getting offtrack here.

So Team Rainbow Dust sets off to go further with cloud busting and quickly dispose of the competition, But the oh so hungry Lighting Dust wants be better than best and besides the best way to dispose of all the clouds the fastest way is too create a natural disaster...
And the Other group has chosen Twilights Balloon as transport to make a visit to the Academy, but they get in the Tornado Lightning Dust made just a few moments ago (made together with the easily manipulated Rainbow Dash), However Rainbow Dash saves them from their doom with some other student, with a content Rarity

And because of this Rainbow Dash breaks and tells Lightning Dust about her recklessness, With slight to no success.
But Rainbow Dash comes to the conclusion that if that is what makes you a wonderbolt she doesn't want to be a part of it, and goes to Spitfire and tells the whole story and rushes out of her office, disappointed.

But before Rainbow and the rest can leave for Ponyville they are stopped by Spitfire, who tells Rainbow Dash that she is right and capable of being the best while also taking care of the safety of her team-mates, and so is Lightning Dust called forth and stripped of her captain badge
and expelled from the academy




And so we end the episode with Rainbow Dash now being the leader of a squad i guess





so, what do i think of this episode?

I can't really put it, i don't know if i hate or love it. The plot is very basic and kind of predictable and this sudden character change of Spitfire also doesn't feel right, and of course we have Lightning Dust who is boring and uninteresting throughout and makes no development though the entire episode, because if she did not get her title stripped she would go on with her recklessness.

And i find the lack of letters to celestia disturbing.
(also note that Twlight doesn't seem to be the central main character of the show any more)


but i find this episode disappointing, it was enjoyable to a certain degree but nothing more.
and because of that i give it a 7.0/10

So they start the training of the academy and Lighting Dust And Rainbow Dash are the only ones that really preform good on the all the strange stuff they have to do, But it seems that most of the tests Lightning Dust just tries better than rainbow dash at which i have to disagree
Also worth noting is that Lightning Dust has also no regard for anybody's safety or is just to stupid to note

WTH is this supposed to be?! (HYPNOTOAD?)



and while this is going we see some uninteresting sub-plot where pinkie goes insane waiting for a update letter from rainbow dash, while obsessively ''spamming'' opening of a mailbox, with AJ being unable to get her attention away from the thing which annoys her so much that she breaks the 4th wall

YUP...

Well this was one of the episodes i wanted to see the the most aaaaaaannd.... i ended up with more questions than answers


SPOILERS START HERE


So we start off with what look like a picknick that seems to be held under Rainbow Dash's house, were we see that pinkie is nervous about something, soon we discover that there suddenly is a Wonderbolt Academy and the group await a ''mail-pony'' to bring a certificate that apparently means she is a student there now, and the group is very happy that she is in especially Pinkie , and after a ''tense'' moment with Rainbow Dash.

She sets of to the academy...




So we see how the Wonderbolt academy looks while rainbow dash flies though, and apparently the Wonderbolt academy is located on the highest mountain top in the world




After that we see the return of the YEAAAAAAAAAAH! ''pony'' (i put that in quotes because i have my obvious doubts)

F**king love this guy ^^


And in the same scene we are again introduced to Spitfire, who had a complete transformation from the cool, relaxed, character she was first, And who is now not that different from the Drill Sergeant of Full Metal Jacket.

this sudden character change must be a academy record... (-_-)



And before we move on to the rest of the plot i need to introduce one more character, and that is: Lightning Dust

She is essentially Rainbow Dash but only Bland and Uninteresting (and she doesn't have a badass haircut)

oke so at the end of the episode Lightning Dust get expelled or something, and rainbow dash become the leader pony thingy. So does this mean she now IS a wonderbolt? or is she still a student at the academy? will this episode be followed upon later in the season. (for example rainbow dash will be in less episodes because she is at the wonderbolt academy? and than in my mind in the season finale where i dont know king sombra comes back with the help of discord and rainbow dash save everyone from their deaths).


I am sure there are others with the same question, and any answers or suggestions how this will be used are more than welcome ^^


RAINBOW DASH BEST PONY!!!!!!!!!!!


(btw has anyone seen derpy or is she still on vacation?)

Well the episode this week was really stolen by our ''Mistress of the Night''. What the appearance of Luna and the tone she spoke with meant to me, it gave me the feeling that Luna has finally found her place again in this world, and is once again comfortable in her position.


With that being said, for the rest of the episode, i felt like it was really forced.

that they really tried to force that relation between Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash.
But apart from that i liked the Premise, i liked the change of scenery and of course that Scootaloo finally gets an episode, but i think they did not get enough character development out of Scootaloo from this episode and the attention just kind of drove away to Luna, and Rainbow Dash.

but i would say, give the episode at least a watch.
i give it a

7.5/10

BTW: for the 3 people that might care (including myself), the reason why the reviews are all short and late is because i am very busy with school at the moment, but it is almost winter break and then i will be able to put more time and effort in it, you could say these reviews are a quick first thought. because when writing a review i mostly watch the episode again, but i did not get the time to do that.

Okay so here's the deal. For the 43545345 million time in the show (especially S3), when there is a problem, or the show needs to explain or build up very cheaply a plot in 2 min?

GUESS HOW DO THEY SOLVE IT??!?!?!

A MOTHER BUCKING BOOK OF COURSE!!!

The show used this Deus Ex Machina A LOT of times when there would be a problem in Ponyville or just a big problem in general, mostly books from Twilights Library. I know it is a kid's show, but it feels like cheap writing too me, using this cheap plot device to skip the slightest complex writing to come up on a interesting way to find the solution. But my biggest problem is the ease they find these books, or the ease how they just happened to find an ''secret entrance to a secret section in the library'', and for all the problems Ponyville has, you would think the whole library would be full of those.

You get the idea, but i wonder if they realise that it is just annoying and cheap, or that they just think logical, becuase i get it, Twilight has books and books have information on a lot of subjects, it just feels like it al just fits in a little to perfectly, where they just miss out in some great opportunities to maybe, Develop characters or make the Conflict at hand Stronger.

Well this was one of the episodes i wanted to see the most, And it did not disappoint!

and too bad the necklace
did not include any clear resemblance to King Sombra in any way
(which means he is still a worthless villain )

BTW: where is Luna?

for some reason i want to see this episode more then any other (together with ''wonderbolt academy'').

maybe it is just MAGIC DUEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that alone it an awesome concept on itself.

and maybe we get some other character development on Twilight that she doesn't explain to the audience at the end of each episode.

i have high hopes for this episode.



So what episodes can't you guys wait to see? and why?

Well my brony friends, on the subject of my favourite Fandom character: Derpy Hooves



We are 4 episodes in season 3 and he haven't had a *(background) appearance* of Derpy yet

(* EDIT: ''CLEAR BACKGROUND APPERANCE'')


Maybe Hasbro dumped Derpy after the ''Derpy is offensive to disabled people Bull**it?''

there were some speculations
like on last episode

next to DR. Hooves

But that one was quickly dismissed.


But earlier this season we had some kind of appearance back-background appearance

And that is all we have of her. This appearance looks like it is Derpy, but for me this is not enough evidence until i see the eyes and or the cutie mark.

So what do you guys think of this?

what is going on at Hasbro?
is Derpy gone, or do they have some other plans with her?

A quick note about the latest episode, I liked it.
for a lot of people i get why it is very relatable and this episode does that almost perfectly, in other words a great moral.

and because of that i think it is the best episode in this season so far

i would give it a

8.5 / 10

I Personally think it is kind of ironic, calling us out for having no life, then wasting your own weekend on hacking several streaming sites?

But they will probably stay away from the stream next week, or else the ''Great and Powerfull'' one will take revenge on them
