I dunno if anyone read my last blog, but I said that I had just finished my big project of the last two weeks (I also said I’ve changed my name; formerly Solar Nucleus)

Now, ‘tis not the season to be selfish, so feel free to take a listen, even if you aren’t chocolatechip.

I would have made it so much more better if it weren’t for a lot of reasons. Mainly due to the fact that I made this piece primarily in my school’s composition studio class, so I can only work on it if I made extra time at school (staying for lunch, after-hours, etc). I’m saving up money so I can buy myself the composition software to use at home whenever I want.

$200... let’s hope my parents are feeling generous this year! Also, the reason I turned the present in so early is that I need the next few weeks to focus on the upcoming finals. But, I’m happy to say I made well before deadline. All in all, I’m pretty happy with how the music turned out. I’m hoping you’ll be thinking the same!

Yes, late, as in "the last time I was online was about a month ago." And late as in "it's 1 in the morning and you have to wake up in five hours."

So, I don't have any excuses for why I am never on, cuz the Internet doesn't care about excuses. Let's just say I've been busy

The truth is, I have been. In the MLP side of my life, I've been furiously working on a gift which I am giving to a special somepony for the Secret Santa Hooves event. I'm glad to say that the work has paid off, and I've finished well before the deadline

Now that load is off my back, so I've got time to focus on other things... like finals. Yay!

Oh, also, I'm contacting the admin about changing my name. Solar just doesn't fit me, or my hobbies. If I'm allowed, I'll be known as DJ Syntax on EP once it is changed.

Wahoo! I am one year closer to my death! What an amazing celebration I had for that.

My birthday weekend was amazing, and I give a thank you to all of you EP denizens who greeted me. It was real thoughtful of you

Anyways, for my b-day, I went to the Miramar Air show and saw the Blue Angels, for the first time! They were friggin' amazing, I gotta tell you. They reminded me SO much of the Wonderbolts (I'm pretty sure the WB were based off the Angels), and that made it all the more cooler.

Oh, and get this. For my party, I received a present from a couple of my non-brony best friends. They know about my liking of MLP, and all pitched in to get me something.

So after a month or so, I finally logged into my EP account. Gah... so much dust everywhere.

Anyway, I haven't been online because school had started, and I was trying to get in a sort of routine before implementing lurk time in my schedule.

But now that everything's been sorted out... more pony time! So, assuming not everyone's forgotten about me, hello again!

Stuff I'm gonna be doing (but probably gonna procrastinate severely):

-I'm practicing more on my vector art. My work is looking SO much more like the real show now. I'll try to make something once a month, granted I finish it in time.

-Music. That I have PLENTY of time for. I'm currently taking the second installment of a music composition class, so I think I'm ready to start making pony muzik. Just gotta think of a good name...

So yeah, that about sums it up. It's good to be back!

Okay, so I think its time to announce what I'm planning on doing here on EP.

I'm open for commissions and requests, and I'll try my best. Feedback and suggestions are always appreciated, as well!

Now onto something I'm more sure about. As of current, I am working on two fictions. One of them is still in an early stage, so I'll refrain from announcing it right now. The other, which is making great progress, is what I'll be announcing here.

The fiction is inspired by the controversial topic of the brony faction "war", The Solar Empire vs The New Lunar Republic. When I first heard of the "conflict", I was very intrigued, and I wanted to know more. But, I was disappointed, even surprised, to the fact that there were not any decent fics on the subject. So, I decided to write one myself.

My fiction is called, "Lunar Rising", set in an alternate branching universe in Equestria. I don't want to give away any more spoilers, but I will say this:

I need prereaders!

Yeah, I need somepony to help me review and revise the beta. Of course, there are benefits to this: you'll be able to read the story early! ^-^

This is my first-ever blog post here on EP. I guess I'll take the opportunity to introduce myself and what I plan on doing here.

So, hi! I'm Solar Nucleus. I think its pretty obvious why I'm here, it's because I love, what else?- PONIES! I got hooked to the show awhile back, but until recently kept it to myself. Me joining EP is hopefully a first step to connecting with this community.

The majority of what I'll probably contribute to the fandom is fictions. I've got a few that I'm working on right now, and I'll introduce them to you as they develop. I guess I'm >decent< at art, but don't expect any Mona Lisas to come from me. I usually just make simple drawings and spice it up with Inkscape or GIMP. My profile picture is actually my first drawing I've ever made that I've put up on the web, and I'm happy how it turned out.

I'm very excited to meeting and getting to know everyone here. Hopefully you'll be seeing more of me around EP as I get to know this place better. Be seeing you!
