Thought I would write another blog entry just because it's been a while. Also relevant is hurricane Sandy which is about to hit me.

I've had the worst of luck when it comes to storms as of recent. Within the last year or two I've lost power about four times. And never before. I've lived in this house for about 14 years and never had a problem.
Last year my house was practically hit by lightning, frying pretty much everything. It was in the dead of summer and my AC was blown out along with my internet and power. While the power was fixed within a week, my AC and internet were lost for about a month :<

It was the hottest summer I'd ever dealt with lol. I'm used to being spoiled with cool temperatures, but not that summer. Also, I had just been promoted to staff at the time and had to moderate. Not having internet made that quite a challenge. I got creative in using my phone for staying on chat rooms and driving down to a friends house to piggyback off his wifi while hiding in my car lol.

Another more recent time was last summer. There was another storm and it knocked out all the power in my neighborhood for a good week and a half. It was pretty hot but we had a generator to keep the freezer running and such. As well as my laptop. But it always rained and it was really dark the entire time. Many candles were slain.

I really hope the hurricane doesn't knock out my power this time :< I just got my Wii working with all my old Gamecube games and would hate to have them gone again x3 I also need my computer for homework so that would be a nuisance.

So as some (none) of you may know, I work in the show business industry! (I work at a movie theater...) I usually work from about 6pm - 12am. Which translates to 5:30pm - 1:30am.
Anyway, I started working at the concession stand just like any other day. Business was pretty intense since its a new theater, but hey, it gave me something to do.
It got a little more interesting around 11pm though. We started to clean the frozen yogurt machine and zomg it started to leak and explode. There was the freezing stuff oozing out of everywhere and spewing from the nozzles. Me and some other employees started freaking out, grabbing it by the handfuls and hurling it into trash cans. We couldn't get it fast enough though and it was getting all over us and the floor. One of the people decided to start shoveling it into their mouth just because of the fact that there was SO MUCH.
One of the managers walked in and stopped dead in his tracks. "FLUTTERSHY WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He starts freaking out (Fluttershy since privacy reasons lol). The manager's last name is Dorche and we all call him Dorchebag because reasons. So he comes over and tries to shove his thumbs into the machine, spewing it all over us. Another manager walks in and starts wailing "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, DORCHEBAG?! SOME OF THESE PEOPLE ARE JUST KIDS! THEY'RE ONLY CHILDREN! WHYYYYYY!?"

So at this point everyone's love suits and ties are covered in not-so-frozen yogurt as we start to employ large quantities of buckets to tame the rivers of chocolate and vanilla. Dorchebag spits out a mouthful and yells over to me "Fluttershy! Stick your arm into it! The shut of valve should be all the way in the back!" So I pull up my sleeve and shove my arm all the way into the chamber of chocolate excrement in search of the magic valve. I finally find it but it's frozen stuck! I wrap my hand around it in hopes of it warming off enough to turn, chocolate pouring over my shoulder. Dorchebag is cursing his head off, the other manager scolding him for cursing in front of minors.
I finally get the shut off valve turned and and pulled out, slowing the flow of yogurt. I slowly pull my arm out of the machine, shivering and covered in frozen chocolate.
As we're getting cleaned up, everyone starts saying "Dorchebag destroyed Fluttershy's innocence during the yogurt indecent!"
I finally get cleaned up (sort of) and head out of work around 1am. Having not had dinner, I make my way over to the only place open; McDonalds.
I get out of my car and see a large group of black women stumbling around clearly drunk. They all come up to me and start sniffing me in places that I wouldn't like to be sniffed and say "Hot damn you smell niiiiiiiiceeeeeee.... How's about you take us alll in a riiide in your vaaaaaaan?" One of the distinguished ladies asks. As nicely as I could say it, I booked it into the McDonalds, not interested in getting raped by a group of drunk black chicks with a chocolate fetish.

All in all, a wonderful Saturday night.

So... I'm not really sure how these blogs work yet... They came out while I was away.. But that's not going to keep me from trying them out :3

As some of you know, I went away on a European cruise for the last week and a half. It was great and I'm back now ;D I missed you all and while it was fun, there was no pony
I visited different places in Italy, France, and Spain. Mainly went to Rome, Pisa, Florence, Pompei, Marseille, and Barcelona. There was some sort of heat stroke while I was there though so it was really really hot... The cruise ship was really really nice, too! It's name was the Epic which was a really fitting name for a ship of it's size. One of the biggest there is and in the top 5 for world's best ships. I was really happy to be on it :3 Being 18, I was allowed to do all the irresponsible things that I can't do in America like gamble and drink ;D Before you're all "Fluttershy noooo D:" I didn't do alot of either! But I did manage to turn $5 into $200 pretty easily ;D That was nice.

I took alot of pictures which I have yet to transfer off my camera, but I wouldn't want to bore you guys with more stuff :3
