Well I guess this is my first post. I have written close to nothing since joining and since I've felt a bit nostalgic I decided to give it a whirl. Although I've not talked to anyone on the forum and hardly posted, I guess putting myself out there first might spark someone's interest. Unlike a lot of the herd, I joined the fandom really late. I joined Everypony Forums not long after I watched the show on Netflix. Since then I've really fallen in love with the show and enjoyed the ups and downs (freakouts) of the fandom. I also managed to get my sister into the show who is also sharing it with her friends. Being a brony has allowed me to cope with graduating from college, the uncertainty of still finding a settled career, and leaving my friends in college who are now too far away or mostly indifferent. While I haven't engaged other bronies or done much in the way of fanworks just sharing in the collective experience of watching the show and enjoying the injokes gives me some joy when things seem their most difficult. I plan to be more active, in the ways of art and possibly writing, but I'll see. I don't have anything really good to show given how high the standards have grown so its omitted until there's something worth seeing. Thats it for now.
