Who makes Sturgis? I tried to look it up, but I can only get results about the rally.

Small and quick is Japanese, not Harley.

Can't see the second one.
The top one is very nice, though it doesn't exactly look small.

No Harley is really small or fast by the standards of other bikes, so you may as well just get one that looks and sounds awesome. Leastways, that's how I see it.

The second picture was one of those godawful fairing and bag covered touring Harleys. You see entirely too many of them over here.

Yeah, take a good look at me, you'll see I'd prefer A to B. I'd do a Sturgis, though, for novelty purposes. I'm like that.

By "quick," I actually just meant something responsive and easy to handle, with decent speed. I need to get from point A to point B, but necessarily at 200mph.
Sportsters fit the bill nicely.

What are Harleys like pricewise compared to Jap stuff over there?

That said, what I REALLY want is a post-war Vincent or Triumph.

Harleys tend to be a little more expensive, but there are a few for under 10k.

Ooh, good choices... Vincents are crazy money, and Triumphs are getting there, but BMWs are more reasonable, at least over here...

That about tallies with prices for Harleys over here, I think, but 10k seems like a lot to me. My bike was about $700, I think XD
