She offered her hand to Sariel, one brow raised.
"Normally, we wouldn't be able to talk to the tribes."
She returned, beaming eagerly. "I got it!"
She grinned and ran off to the closet.
"We do, right, Zad?"
"Oh, yeah. August is a genius, though. The devices really make a difference."
"Okay! Can I get the coloring books?"
She nodded, turning back to Zaddy and offering her hand.
"What?"
He was frowning, looking disturbed, but when Aubrey glanced up at him, he put on a bright face. "That's really cool, Bree."
She gave him a smile. "Yeah, I do. Okay, well, we'll meet you back at the school?"
He laughed as they slowed. "Don't fret. You're fine."
Jack came back a few minutes later with a happily chattering Aubrey. "It was really, really cool!"
She gave Warner a grin. "Too nauseous for you?"
