She looked up at him. "I could say that. You have a point."
She sighed, before a playful grin crossed her face. "Catch me!" she shouted, before letting her legs give out beneath her.
He glared at her turning it up slightly. "Don't make me do this. I'm begging you."
"They seem like they connect, I've noticed."
"Right. Because I'm right."
He glanced at her. "Don't do this to me, baby."
She sighed. "Yeah. A bit. I can see how they're soul mates, you know. It's weird.."
She laughed softly. "Not as wonderful as you."
He squinted. "Nuh uh."
She nodded thoughtfully. "Of course. There's are a few rough edges sometimes, as always."
She hugged him tight. "I'll always have you."
He shook his head. "I most certainly will not!"
"I can understand that," she said. "Loving girlfriend, cats, a steady job. Seems like a good setup."
Her hand brushed his cheek. "So you want to spend the rest of your life with me?"
Francis looked back, patting the dogs head. "Your mom is crazy, isn't that right, Tom? Isn't that right?"
She squinted at him. "Maybe it's just what you want to hear."
