Dark Shine was clearing the skies when he spotted somepony in thier garden. He flew down to them. "Excuse me, but I am afraid to tell you it is about to rain." He smiled, to make a bit of reasurance.
Snow smiled at the newcomer, "Oh, I'm fine, I did rain quite relaxing." she said, "But if it's going to be a storm, best get inside." she got up and picked one of the many strange white flowers she had been laying with and started trotting inside when she turned her head and said, "Oh, and take a White Hope, very very good for you, can cure just about any diesease, lots of nutrition." and she went inside her house.
Dark scratched his head. After a few minutes the storm was ready. Once Rainbow Dash started it, Dark Shine went into his cloud. Unfortunatly, it was in the vacinity of lightning. The cloud got fried and the shock of most of his stuff exploding launched Dark Shine out of his house. He landed on the roof of the house he visited earlier.
Snow's head shot up to the sound of hooves on her roof. She got up and put on a raincoat and went outside to investigate. Thorugh the heavy rain, she could see a shape on her roof, "What are you doning?! Come inside!" she yelled.
Dark Shine more fell of the roof than hovered off. He stumbled inside. "Eh... Thanks... Sorry if there is a dent in your roof. I'll get it fixed if there is. I'm Dark Shine by the way, but call me Dark or Darky."
"I'm Snow Mark." Snow said as she went inside with Dark, "Huh, I have a friend who's name is Dark as well, and she's also a pegasus. Interesting. Well, make yourself at home, this storm's not going to give up any time soon, and thanks to it my husband's stuck out there, so there's plenty of room."
Dark Shine blew some hair out of his face. "It is nice to meet you Snow. Thanks for letting me in. Dont want to get myself electrocuted again!" He chuckled a bit.
Dark Shine smiled. "A cup of tea would be lovely thanks. So, what is your job? And your friends job for that matter."
"Oh, well I'm a part-time advisor to Celestia and run Marc Co. Equestria's largest mineral mining company, but it really doesn't keep me busy as its mostly run through it's day to day operations by the board, and my friend is the Master Protector of the Capital Region for the Royal Guard. And my husband is in Equestria's special forces." she then dissappeared for a while and returned floating a tray with two cups on it and some sugar cubes, "Here we are." she said setting it down, "Now, what's your job?"
Dark Shine rubbed his neck. "Wow... I only work the weather here! I'm Rainbow Dash's personal assistant really. But what is it like, being friends with a master protector for the Royal Guard?"
Snow shrugged, "Well, it keeps her away most of the time and also, I have so many important ponies in my family it doesn't really affect me. I can even say I'm directly descendant from Princess Celestia herself."
Dark Shine gulped down some tea he was drinking. (Perfect timing) "Ce-ce-ce-ce-CELESTIA?! You are descended to Celestia?! It is an honour!"
Snow shrugged again, "I really don't think about it. Even though it does technically make me a princess, I really don't want to be known as Princess Snow Mark, in fact, your the first pony to hear about it outside the family."
"That would be correct." Snow said, "Most ponies in this town only know me as the master of a long forgotten form of magic, and grower of the White Hope flower."
Snow sighed, mainly from sheer boredom, she never did a a lot of work so she had a lot of spare time. "Do you want to go to my patio, I like the sound of rain, and don't worry, it's enclosed."
Snow's head suddenly snapped to the sound of knocking on her door, "I'll be right back." she said. When she came back, a light blue pony was in tow, "Winter, I would like you to meet Darkshine, he got stuck out there so I let him in." Winter nodded in greeting at Darkshine, "Hello. I am Snow's husband, and you are?" he asked holding out a hoof.
